Perl or PHP script, visits site and clicks on button

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knows of any Perl or PHP script that can visit a website (with multi threading) and click on a button which is on the site???

I think you may be looking for some kind of crawler to automatically traverse through a set of links? You can do this a number of ways, one being a 'wget' over linux which doesn't even require a script.

Another alternative would use node.js to manipulate the DOM.

Finally, you could, as you suggested use php, python, perl, or ruby.

If so, you can find the code for a simple crawler by searching google for Python Web Crawler in Under 50 Lines. Unfortunately, I don't have the ability to post links yet -- sorry!

There is also a possibility that you are looking for javascript which will perform some action when a page loads, but it doesn't seem like this is what you are asking. If I am incorrect, let me know and I will try to adjust my answer accordingly.

All I can think of is you are trying to "submit" to a post form, you can do that with php and CURL, and you can do curl with multithreading from what i've heard (havent used this s ofar). Also rotating proxies (which i think will be needed) is possible and extremely easy with curl.
