I've been a part of this forum for about a year and a half now, and during my initial days, I was very focused on my proxy business. It was more of a side hustle back then, I used to freelance full-time. As my business grew, so did my involvement in this business. Most of the time I was optimizing and maintaining things. I slowly automated most things with the only goal in my mind - "It's time that you start working on your next sources of income!"
That's exactly what I have been doing for the past couple of months now and I have to say that I am very disappointed with myself. It's not like I am not working towards my goals, it's just that I am stuck in this vicious loop of making things perfect.
I feel blessed that I can code, reverse engineer shit and have a solid understanding of tech to such a degree that I can afford to have options when I am choosing tech-stack, methods for evading detection. Heck, even hop between 7 languages just to find the best thing for making a solid foundation on which all my future projects will depend. But as the saying goes, "knowing too much is a curse".
I keep coding things from scratch just because I think I could make XYZ 10% better and have full control and understanding of the codebase. But goddamnit is that even worth it? You could have launched your operation by now if only you could have just chosen to use or modify existing open-source projects and solutions!
Even after working for months and spending countless hours researching, learning, and writing code, I still am at zero on my journey just because of this shitty attitude of trying to make things perfect.
Starting tomorrow, I'm gonna go full super-sayan and iterate over options that I can use today as is or maybe with some modifications. Will only reinvent the wheel once I see it's necessary. Time is a finite resource and I can't keep wasting it like this...
Also, stop watching YouTube all day even tho it's all educational content!
