Perfectionism in IM

Hey folks,

How do you perceive perfectionism related to IM in overall?

Could it be harmful or it is the only way to succeed (go big, beat the competition etc.). It definitely depends on the case, but I think sometimes perfectionism can also lead to unnecessary complication.

What do you all make of this?

Don't focus on perfection. Focus on learning on your mistakes and that's the way to go. Expecting perfection will just drain you mentally day by day til you wanna quit.

You know I was perfectionist back in the days until I realized that nothing in the world is perfect. Being a perfectionist makes everything unnecessarily harder and brings a lot of stress to your life. Well, at least that was the case for me.

I'm not sure about Herbs but I'm a perfectionist by nature and it not just slows my productivity but halts it hence no work is done at the end of the day. From my experience, if you've an idea on your mind just put the draft/prototype up and enhance it's features/functionalities from there.

Humans cannot perceive perfection the same way we cannot perceive the size of the universe.

Yeah I was relating more to the term of trying to do something "perfect", the perfectionist type of people.
