What is perfect keyword density? According to Wikipedia, it's 1%-3%.
How many times should keyword be mentioned in h1 and title tags?
What is perfect keyword density inside of meta tag (description)?
How many times should keyword be in meta tag (keywords)? Probably only once?

Sorry for a lot of questions, but I would really appreciate this information.

Keyword Density should be 1-5%. Try and keep it lower especially with Google's new over-optimization penalty. I would stick with 1-3%.

Just once per page. Don't cram it in there too much. Use related keywords in <h2>, <h3>, etc..

Don't use your keyword more than twice in the meta description.

Just once. It doesn't hurt to have meta keywords but it's also not that beneficial. Google has significantly devalued the tag but it may still be worth setting. Either way just once is fine.

Don't rely on Wikipedia for your SEO guidelines.

Grab something like SEOpressor and get your score to 100%. Done, and done.

Panda 3.3 is about LSI if I'm correct. Put lots of similar words with the same meaning as your keyword. Personally, I'd go for 3%, and 3% with at least 3 LSI keyword.

Works for me.

Nobody knows what the "perfect density" is, its all theory.
In theory 1-4%
LSI keywords are more important now

If there would be a perfect density,then google would ban it

every one guess and do it itself.Nobody knows actually what Google likes if some one get better result 1% -3% he takes it it's perfect if some one get poor result he takes it must wrong density so its depend on some good work and we never forget this kw must be placed in right place if kw scatter and if meaning sentence not reflect the kw well and irrelevant then what ever the density it hardly effective.

If you're in it for the long haul, then I think there is no need to focus on keyword density at all. Instead, why not focus on good quality and relevant content? If it's a good article, then it will naturally have good keyword density and related keywords sprinkled all throughout anyway. Before, when I was still giving my writers target densities, I find that the keywords are being forcefully incorporated into the article - resulting in decreased readability and quality. It's possible to rank pages with 0% keyword density

Yeah... I would not go past 3%.

Coz honestly if you mention a keyword more than 2-3 times per 100 words then the reader's experience starts to fall drastically.

I normally stay around the 1% mark.

I never even go past 1.5% to be honest. Anything after that gets repetitive

Of all the responses, I think critman really nailed it, but overall, most are theorizing that 1% - 3% works just fine.

I try to write in a way that would make sense and wouldn't make me sound like an idiot if I were reading it to someone. You want to work the keywords in naturally. Having said that, it usually ends up around 1-2% for me.

I find I just add my keyword into the article at least once every paragraph or two, and I'm fine. I'm sure to use other related keywords though, and that's very important for relevance in the eyes of search engines, I believe.
