BTC is automatically disqualified from this conversation because it isn't fungible. What happens when you get some dirty Putin Bitcoins and then Coinbase freezes your account and keeps your funds, then reports you to the authorities?
The best coin for actual transactions is monero. There's a reason why all the drug dealers on DNM (who are basically risking their lives) transact in Monero and not any other coin. Privacy by default = fungible. No known founder/organization behind it so government authorities can't go after it, like they can with 95% of DeFi projects such as ADA.

There is nothing like perfect crypto currency. All projects have own pace of growth. So far bitcoin is the most commonly used.

PulseChain (PLS) a brand new fork of Ethereum which has basically ZERO gas fees AND PulseX (PLSX) the main dex on PulseChain with insane tokenomics. These are the perfect cryptos to me since no fees and amazing game theory.
Reasoning: Ethereum fees are so insane billions worldwide can't participate unfortunately, and I don't see that changing anytime soon. And defi is the future so fees need to be nothing or close to nothing.
Bitcoin is of course an excellent Long-term hold but if you're not rich already it'll take a VERY long time to get rich with it, if at all. More so a store of value.
