I am giving up on Peter and Jumpstart... all I get are promises and promises...
I purchased the enterprise edition with all the plugins and spent quite a bit monthly, not realizing for months and months the urls Peter manually loaded to assure they would stick, stopped getting views a week or two later.
It caused one client to sue me for ALL the work I did, not just the video views.
The video views accounted for a small amount of the work I did for her.
Judges do not get what we do.
Lesson, cost me $2,000 for a $1,000 job.
WTF!!!!
But the main issue was she figured I lied about getting her videos views in order to rank better, so everything I did must be suspect.
The case before me was local.com and how they ripped a 74 year old jeweler for almost $15,000, the man was only suing in small claims so could only sue for $5,000 but the case got the judge all worked up.
My point is when you offer a product for sale, you have a fiduciary duty to your customers, especially when they are paying for a commercial version and not a consumer or beta version.
The circumstances have a way of snowballing when someone drops the ball.
This is a real business for many of us and we need solid solutions and faith in those we deal with, whether a handshake or a 100 page contract.
I wish Peter well, but I am done with him and JS.
