This metaverse thing has started gaining traction. The question is where is it headed or what forms will it take and how do we benefit from this wave? And I don't get one thing that if in the metaverse there is unlimited space and one can build anything, then why there will be a price rise in virtual real estate. Since in the real world the value of physical assets only increases if there is shortage of something or an increase in demand.

I remember that not even too long ago, maybe two years, ethereum developers were throwing the word metaverse around and actively developing a VR platform based on it, with the idea of virtual real estate and what not. And now mark fucking zuckerberg comes along as if the whole concept was entirely his idea?! I could swear im not just imagining it.

Does anyone know the name for this mental illness?
 
I bet they feel very special now... weirdos.
 
They should ask Second Life how it's going. I don't see this coming up very popular anyway, just not interesting enough to become the new meta!
 
It seems a lot of you guys are in their 18s or 20s, and have no clue what SecondLife is, or True RP servers for San Andreas, haha.
 
They just got married in Metaverse, Congratulations to them. What's next? I mean is it possible to......through Metaverse? Any special hardware comes from Meta / Elon? :D

see comment above regarding second life, there have already been virtual worlds where people paid for virtual sex.
 
The more and more people get used to it the more they will lose touch with physical fitness in the physical world lol not talking about this virtual world ar vr
Old days were getting missed, playing sports in school, football, cricket, etc.
Also, people after this ar and vr (virtual reality) all people's eyes will get strained very bad people will do this for it for a long time.
Although I feel it is a good thing to experience to go in a market's to learn experience how the markets were used to be in 1800's centuries
But excess of everything is bad
 
What are monetisation options available? Imagine strolling around Meta while PH ads are hitting your viewport :anyway::anyway:

Why do you want to monetize or make money?
No need to get rich in physical world.
Sleep on gold bed in virtual reality haha
