Hi, I'm still getting contacts on my landing pages but people don't open emails or the emails goes to promotional tab in gmail.. why??

how is it possible to solve this? the emails I wrote are not spam but still gmail send these emails straight to the promotional tab...

I'm getting crazy about it and the autoresponder service can't help me because they told me it's google problem LOL

It's most likely either you have words in your emails that sound like you're trying to sell something, or Google is detecting that the emails are coming from an auto responder and flagging them as promotional that way. Getting a dedicated IP from your autoresponder may help if they offer it, worth testing.

Have you tested your message with one of the free services like glockapps?

Really? Can be the problem also my domain ? what do you mean dedicated IP ? can I get one on aweber or getresponse?

It could be your domain, emailing can be tricky because there's a lot of variables. And I'm sure they do, you'd have to reach out to support or do some searching to find out what the price is. I use elasticemail and a dedicated IP is less than a dollar per day.

That's why they go to promotion and not spam. Gmail likely recognized the unsubscribe link so noticed it's a newsletter, thus no individual email but promotion

what about amazon aws? I've heard people using sendy + amazon server and they get 100% inbox rate

Some people don't bother to open or look for it when it goes to spam, heck you even have to remind them where it goes.

Do you have SPF set up?

Having an unsubscribe link in a message doesn't affect delivery in any way.

Are you using images in your messages?

Do you have seed accounts and test your inbox placement?

What is your open rate?

Yeah, we have the same problem. People are not opening our emails. Do you know Scot and Jack in UK and USA? We are the same company but in DE. So our emails open just ~30% of all subscribers..

how to solve this

Maybe collecting emails and then sending them messages from a SMP without the automation of subscriber

Some people told me to try Sendy plugin + amazon aws server so emails will always go to inbox

Dear Vincent,

I think that your problem resides in the subject of your emails and the body. If Google detects specific words in the content, they filter it as offers. Email filters today are a pain in the back, so my suggestion is to find a way to write your emails in a more personal way.

Discounts or offers buy now or sale, all those keywords will put the email in the promo tab. My advice? Use different words when you are crafting your emails, bro.

That's my own solution. Don't get too technical with dedicated IP's. Just change your writing style.

Good luck,

Vlad
