Penguin Update Coming "Soon, " But Google Seems Confused

So everybody is waiting for this "overdue" Penguin update. Won't be here this month. Might... "might" be here next month. Story has been the same for MONTHS.

The point I'm seeing is that its long delayed. Strangely so. This fact, combined with Google's open sourcing of their "old" AI TensorFlow and their roll-out of their new RankBrain, seem to hint to me that Google may have bit off more than it can chew. You gotta laugh at that. Explain to me how a multi-billion dollar company misses forecast after forecast of what is probably the MOST important element of their game. I wouldn't be surprised one bit if their new code wasn't giving them the end SERP results they want. The article here is hinting at January, but watch what happens next month. Smells further off to my nose.

Some rumors going around it's going to be a real time algo hitting sites as it finds them, but we're yet to see that.

If you have been paying attention to the serps and link building, it is already happening. Started about Wednesday 12/09/2015.

And I believe Googles religious claims like I believe man has landed on Mars. I believe what I observe much more than what I believe Google claims. There is an old saying: Believe nothing that you hear, and only half of what you see.

Do you think it's possible it's an algo update unrelated to Penguin? If it's Penguin this will be the first time all of my sites weren't immediately crushed to position 0 on everything. If it's Penguin they will also have to lie about a month from now and pretend it's being released.

I never use spam SEO methods but even so I always get hit by Penguin.

There is a chance that the site I monitor and build to are the testing targets of Google. Google does test on a small subset of sites on the web as well as conducting offline testing. Therefore, I cannot answer; I can only report what I have seen.

In the spirit of the original post, Google has open sourced Tensor Flow, along with Microsoft and Facebook open sourcing their ranking programs. Unlike Facebook and Microsoft, Google specifically mentioned that they did not release the entirety of their program because many other parts are linked into processes that they use today. At the time I understood this to mean that the search engines are running out of ideas of how to use statistical intelligence to effectively rank pages and were seeking help from the programming community.

Well, Google is CONSTANTLY making changes to their algorithm and sites rankings fluctuate off of that, that doesn't mean they have rolled out the big Penguin update. Sites go up and down everyday (Just read around BHW, every week there's always someone upset their sites ranking changed).

I'm sure everyone will be well aware when the Penguin update actually goes live as empires collapse and new ones rise.
 
I feel that if Penguin was here it would be obvious. Clearly its not here, and that fact tells me that Google is a bit behind the 8 ball.
 
There is a storm out there my guys.... rankings flickering up and down..... Mozcast temperature approaching 90 (above average). Its Damn Stormy out there " mozcast com"
 
Really looks like something is going on, the algoroo temperature is the highest ever, even more than Penguin 3.0. Still not sure if it's Penguin, but definitely some major update.
 
I don't know what they are doing but my keywords are dropping but the traffic doubled :))
 
I still see nothing happening but the normal fluctuations, i am monitoring a lot of sites right now, but nothing going on here.
