Does anyone here have the scoop on how the google penguin update is affecting link building? As in how should we be building them now. I used to include paragraphs of text with anchor text and links inside the paragraphs, but lately that doesn't seem to be having much a affect on the pages I am trying to move up the search listings. So I thought I would ask here if there was a new way to go about link building or if blog commenting, forum posting etc. just wasn't working well any more.

All links still work, it's the new filters that Google introduced that changed the game.

A simple answer for your question is you have to build natural links. You can build links through any way, but your link must be natural. for example you need to diversify links, there should not be any foot prints..
