My ONLY CONTENT WEBSITE which was NOT IN TOP 1000 nicely jumped to the top 100 and top 1000 for more keywords - There were NO LINKS

My NICHE 301 REDIRECT is doing well so far

Thats the biggest changes i can write so far i will write more for you guys but we need time to see.

I see also improvments on other inner pages which have no related links , i feel like number of links / anchors pointing to your site have something to do with this update because keyword which have no links with exact or related anchors or simple pages with no links are going up

HOW YOU WERE IMPACTED (Dropped a few spots, deindexed, etc): dropped 10 spots on most keywords
MISC: 4 old niche specific sites 301d to homepage, 4 interior pages i was mainly working on ranking - each with 2 sites redirected to them - 12 sites total redirected to site.

LINK BUILDING STRAETGY DETAILS: some random diversified 2.0, blog comments low quality(seller lied), 15 blog links from BST and 5 private blog links(mine)
HOW YOU WERE IMPACTED (Dropped a few spots, deindexed, etc): From #2 for all keywords to #28-#35 for all.
MISC:Most links were to the homepage. IN my opionion should have done more deep linking. I dont know what did it the low quality links or the 15 posts i bought from a service here. IMPORTANT: The site right behind me did not get touched and it has 3 links going to it. I somehow feel low number of links keeps it going. Also has alot of social activity. MIne does not! Also it is for a local offline business with fairly low search volume.

Can't be right... Only a few of my pages had links, ALL pages tanked. More than tanked, we're talking not even on the map...

This is a real site not an affiliate type site so it gets organic shares and social mentions

Same as Site 1 but this is a site I started on, got bored with adding content and recently started back again

This IS an affiliate/Amazon site and again I am more content focused than link focused. This does not get as many organic shares or social mentions but I have done some outreach for guest posts etc....
108 indexed pages, this site is a little over a year old.

I have one site that is around 2 years old that I brought back to life, it has all kinds of crap links pointing to it from the days when I did not know any better. It took a slight dip but it was doing nothing special anyway it lost about 10% of its very meager traffic.

Another Site rarely touch it anymore, added content to it twice this year, same stats as the others, Shared hosting, Y who is, Y Webmaster tools, Yes Analytic 1200 indexed pages site is around 3 years old, I started working on it in August of 2012.

Once again the site is less Link Driven in terms of SEO strategy and more Content and Keyword Driven

Ok, maybe that will gives some light on this update:
In one of my niches there is a site that rank pretty good Top 10 on almost any keyword related to that niche.
After Penguin 2.0 that site comes from nowhere and dominated that niche. today that site after Penguin 3.0 got even better ranking.
here is some info from ahrefs on that site:

Ahrefs DR: 56
Backlinks: 2.7M
RFD: 433
Gov - 0 Edu - 4

So i guess as we all know it already it totally about Links. If you want the exact domain PM me.
