So after reading way too many threads on this update( I have nothing better to do at work) I've drawn a few conclusions from growing trends.

First content is not king, uniqueness % is king. And as we all know uniqueness does not equal quality.

Second it was not just a dance that put the old MFA sites back on top and google fixed that manually. Now I think this is the interesting part, people are also claiming that there web2s are unaffected while their money site got tanked. The only way this all would make sense is if they set the algo to place a penalty on sites with links from web2s with poor uniqueness % but not penalize the web2 itself. Now I know what your thinking how would G make a stupid mistake like that, remeber they have thousands of people working there and with that many hands there is bound to be a mix up or have something slip through the cracks. And before you guys start going nuts over what I've said think about it this way MFAs and Web2s that were blasted with with Xrumer and SB were ranking while sites with web2s with POOR spun content got tanked. Now who is to say how long this will last no one knows but all we can do is poke at the algo till we know what works.

Interesting point you have there

It's funny as soon as I was done writing this I remembered all the people claiming success with the 301 redirects to new domains and the same content. I know the 301s pass on the juice but I guess they don't pass the penalty or so it would seem

Hi,
I think in some cases penalty pass . so far i did 3 redirects, 1 is successful, other 2 sites move back to 5th page.

where u read success? can u give threads url's

I'm using tap talk tright now which would make that a pain so I won't post links it if you search you will find some

most of the time the penalty will pass to the new domains, i have heard of people who say it worked, but most people report the penalty passed to the new domain within 7-10 days...

well panda is simple

push down middle and small sites which can use adwords

push up authority sites even though their pages are piece of sh*t

that is what is happening
