Penguin 3.0 - first analysis - looking for interesting cases

I wrote just a quick Penguin 3.0 summary here https://goralewicz.co/google-penguin-3-0/.

What is interesting, Penguin 3.0 still is susceptible to Negative SEO attacks. I am helping out some negative SEO victims (some of u may know Kumar and his directories) and some of the websites were affected yesterday.

Anyways I will be publishing a case study about Penguin 3.0 at Link Research Tools tomorrow. If you guys have some interesting drops or recoveries, please PM me, happy to mention that.

So far I think Googlers could do much better with fine tuning the algo, so there will be quite a lot of interesting case studies...

I would love for you to do a case study on me. I am going to be able to accept pms soon but i was hit badly so I need to figure out what to do. My idea. Setup 1 site that is #1 the right way for long term and then build a couple otehr sites that use temporary tactics to get up because my business nitch is low customer loyalty.

I have one thing i thought i will share because it is very wierd;

My site has been on 1st place for 500k+ monthly searches for 2 months and it was like till saturday night when it went off to positon 200.... THIS particular site linked ( I had one link pointing to my second site with "Download" or online "hack" bla bla bla.. ) yesterday was sunday and guess what my second site whitch HAS NO CONTENT AT ALL there is completely nothing just a background with pictures and "hack like interface" ranks position 1 page 1 for 500k+ keyword and has !!!! 18 links !!!!! - 17 links are from whois site's ( I dont remember how you name these ) and 1 link from my main site

Today is monday and my second site still remains position 1 while the first one ( that has 20k+ links and had a lot of high pr links and diversity also was spammed to death by neg seo ) remains at the bottom of serps..

Now can someone explain me this shit? The site is only ranking because I have put keyword one time in meta descritiption lol..

Also I have a question and Im still thinking about that;

1) Is it better to buy high pr links and directly to this second site so I get more diversification and in sum it ranks for more keywords ( or push pr links trough web 2.0 )
2) Buy diserfication package like for example doge links from tommy and just fill anchor cloud with keywords I also want this site to be ranked for?

I hope I contribute to this idiot update and someone also helps me out what should I do now ( I m also building another site whitch will of course reach position 1 no matter what and how much it will cost $$ )

Well Penguin has benefited me.

I have been working on a new authority site in a very competitive niche. For the past three months I've not had a single ranking in the top 100. I've not been building links at all, just 3 fresh pieces of quality content a week.

But when I received my ranking stats email on Sunday, suddenly I have started ranking in the 20-100 range for 25 keywords from 19 site pages.

So thank you Penguin.

Some people make it with blackhat SEO but personally I prefer Youtube video making and PPC. My visits just keep going up and I never get slapped back down. I know thats not always possible for every niche but if you can do white hat its much less stress.
