hello bhw

i m optimizing a site with just white hat links(press release with no follow bla bla bla..boring stuff) i ve got good results(20 keywords on 1 page) but it seems that for the main keyword i'm on position 250.it looks like a penalty to me..or like a shitty G dance(already 5 days)

I reapeat no BH technique!

Any of you did have the same problem?Thanks

Have you ever reached higher rankings on that keyword?
Because I don't see any penalty if you have never reached high rankings.

dance (you never stated previous rankings?) / page penalty / over optimization
if it's not over optimized keep doing what you do and wait a while, it'll happen

Yes, I also feel same thing, Which keywords i am going to Optimization with white hat methods less importance Keywords comes in the first pages i also puzzled with that. Suppose my target " Oriental rug cleaning Miami" That is stick in third pages no improvement with last six months, Already changes latest site coding every thing, disavow the link in GWT no result leass impotent term 'Oriental Rug Cleaning' i am in first pages. I also can't understand what way we go? What method's can apply?

It is possible that google penalize /sandbox 1 or few keywords.
Be patient and keep building links and it should get back.

never had high rankings for that keyword(page 2-3)...but now on page 25

How many keywords you are targeting for that page ? Well if you are still doing SEO for the keywords then its better to check with the anchor text diversity with ahrefs. this may get you some idea if you are really doing over optimization for that keyword

Greetings,

Most people are nowadays affected by this issue. Even-though you do White Hate SEO, Google are more keen on SEO sector to wash out the people who do SEO. So, you need to follow all the rules and Guide lines provided by the Google, like they are now insisting to have a KW with three phase which makes the site to rank in the first page. This is just a simple and also single step, there are lot of stuffs.

yeah we do have 2 major keywords ranking 1st and 2nd respectively but last december got some manual penalty on them. Now those keywords are stuck on Page 3. Still ranking for some long tail keywords though. We have checked and clean some of our backlinks and send consideration request but still haven't recovered those rankings.

Soon as google detects your SEO efforts towards a certian topic, they make it more difficult so you have to buy adwords. Diversify your kw's and your link profile.

Also, press release links are a double edged sword, they can nuke you or help you tons, depends on they go down with the google intestine..I mean brain.

But to my knowledge penalty is only laid after one achieve higher rankings on the particular keyword...

I cannot say its a penalty, just work towards diversifying your anchor texts

all press releases(68 domains) are nofollow!this should not affect the serp!very fucking strange thing happends in serp!All ******** links(max 30) are from big corporates

regarding anchor text :the fucked keyword is at 26% ,naked url 27%, 8% brand name,the rest under 5 percents.

targeting 2 keywords.one is fine the second it s fucked!
