Deindexed doesn't mean it is penalized, i can be deindexed if it has been dropped for a long time.
Rasmusk is correct, if you dont know what a healthy backlink profile is, maybe you should not buy any domains or build any Pbn, an indexed domain can be penalized in the future, the only way to ensure quality is its BACKLINKS PROFILE!
not only backlinks profile, also you must check web.archive.org - possible domain was banned for crap content or external links
