Penalized site? How to know? Need some advice..

Hello,

I really don't know if my site is penalize or what.
It is still indexed in google (site:domain.com).
I am tracking it using proranktracker.com. My main target keyword still shows that I am on page 1 rank 7 (US IP) but if I try to search it on google (Philippines IP) I really can't find it on top 100.. Though 1 of it's keyword that I am not targeting shows a very big drop from rank 7 to rank 88 yesterday.

So I tried using web proxy and small seo tools.

Small seo tools - when I try at first, it doesn't show in top 10 pages but when I tried to search again it shows on page 1.
Well I don't know if this is reliable or not.

Web proxy sites - 3 out of 4 proxy sites, tried searching using google my site doesn't shows but on a 1 proxy site it does show on page 1.

Is it really possible it is banned in a specific country?
Any advice?
Should I remove it's links in my PBN?

I wouldn't do anything yet. Sit back and wait and see. Check the logs on your site and see if traffic is the same or not. You can also sign up for another free tracking site and check it there in a few days. Don't go removing any links. Just be patient. Even if it's gone for X days, don't do anything. Wait and see what happens after weeks.

Bottom line: Google loves to toy with your site....just for no real good reason other than because is can.

I wouldn't go in to a mad panic just yet. Google has been known to drop a site suddenly and waits to see what YOU do in response. If you start deleting a ton of links in reply to Google's action then you're simply showing Google which links it needs to class as shite. It then has a footprint to start working from to find other sites that have those types of links.

Google isn't clever but it is damn sneaky.

Hold fire with what you're about to do and sit on it for a week. If it looks bleak after 10 days then you should start to consider yourself slapped by G and work out a plan of action.

Do you think it's just the links to your site that may have caused it or could it be onsite issues?

Not on my on page.
I think it's from the anchor links from web 2.0 (keyword stuffing I guess).. Just so noob in SEO..
My first time since youtube gone sh!t..

Btw I just checked the site from other rank checker..
My main keyword from rank 7 to rank 156. But I won't stop build high quality links and will wait for 10 days.
If it won't budge I'll just forget it. Move on and learn a lesson.

But is there anything I can do with a penalize site?

Step 1: Don't panic

Step 2: Leave it a week or two

Step 3: If no recovery, check your backlinks, webmaster tools and on-page to see if anything obvious has happened

Step 4: Pay a decent seo guy to do this if you're not sure how to do it yourself

Whatever you do, don't use automated tools to "Check your Penalty" - the only tools you need are Ahrefs, Majestic and perhaps SEO Tools keyword density checker. Oh, and if your "decent SEO guy" breaks out any tool other than ahrefs, majestic or a keyword density checker to test your site - run for the hills!

I don't think its a penalty, just be patient and continue building quality links. It may take a while before your rankings settle.

This has just happened to one of my websites which was ranking too on page 1 rank 7 and has just dropped to rank 80.

The only thing that I have done within the last week was add 5 backlinks from High DA websites and I only used generic and URL as anchor text.

Do you have any idea if the websites have been penalized?

Yep.. My ranking is back to normal according to the rank tracker.. But I doubt it, it will still dance. And I guess the changing of ranks are from the Penguin 3.0. Hopefully my sites can take it..

Honestly I have no idea. Haven't experience it yet and I don't want too.
Well I am holding my breath for this coming google algo "PENGUIN".

if both comes as yoursite.com then its ok, if not i just leave it.

All of the keywords goes from page 1 to rank 90-150+..

But I will still leave it until next week saturday..
If it would still not recover I will remove it's PBN links, forget it and make a new one..

What sites are you linking out to? How are you monetizing the sites?

OK, just a quick question for you; in your own honest opinion do you think Google sees any value to your site?

Based on the content on it and the sites that you're linking to?

I don't know the actual sites that you're linking to, what Google thinks of those sites or the content on your own site which is why I am saying 'ask yourself these questions'.

Has G released an update recently where it may penalize your site based on the sites that you link to?
