Hello,

So yesterday I've created about 15 backlinks manually for my YouTube video to rank on Google . Before the backlinking I was in position #8 for a specific keyword , today one backlink got indexed but at the same time my Video no longer shows when i search for that keyword .. When i search for the video directly in Google it shows up and it shows up in a similar keyword , but it doesn't show anymore for my main keyword . So can you say this is Google dance case or I've got de-index or penalized ?

Thanks in advance

try
Code:
site:yoururl.com
That will tell you whether you got de-indexed or not.

how old is the video? If it is old, then this may look like a penalty.. if the video is new it is probably a dance..

The video is about 30 days old . It shows up when i search directly for the video url , and also it shows in another keyword than my main keyword ....

It doesn't work work with YouTube because it shows various results... Anyway , the video shows when i directly search for it url , also it shows when i search in a keyword similar to my main word . I hope it's just dance

Well, when the video is 30 days old... better wait few more days without doing any new backlinks and see.. if it does come back it was just a dance and you can continue backlinking.. if doesn't come back its a penalty

New vids (like sites) often bouce up for a few days and owners think this is their proper position - they can then bounce around and may come back to their peak - but normally that takes some age and backlinks to achieve.

You see it all the time when you are established in niches - a site pops up and takes a higher place than you for a few days/ a week or so at the most - then disappears. Some come back a few months later - others are gone for good.

If your vid is new that's all it is.

Scritty

yeah, i know that pretty good!

The thing here is that his position immediately went down after he made the backlinks, thats why i suggested it could be penalty.. And i am thinking it is just a dance, but still could show otherwise..

What kind of backlinks did you built actually? Were they shady links or links from authority domains?

I heard that you can build spammy links to your Youtube vids and they rank pretty easy as YT is owned by Google. I'm not sure how old a vid needs to be though or how many views it is supposed to have before it can rank well.

Interesting because I actually got penalized pretty quick doing that. Im guessing because YT is owned by google they're more on top of that stuff.
