No panalty set using Ai text / content on thread and Instagram reels/posts.

This means, these platforms don’t automatically penalize something just because it was made with ai, but you still need to use it the right way. Right now, instagram and threads treat ai‑content just like anything else; they focus on quality, authenticity, and following community rules. If your ai-content is lazy and spammy, it could get buried in the algorithm or flagged by users. The key is to make sure your posts bring value, connect with your audience, and stay true to you.

I don't think they will penalize for something like this. You can see content (visual and text) heavily been AI lately. Even Facebook gives you AI text and image generation when you set up campaigns.

As of right now, they dont, however, they do suggest you notify them that its AI content. If they find out you didnt say it was AI, then it could become an issue and they could take the post down.
