I have a domain that was registered in January this year, using various methods it has around 1,100 backlinks, the links are a mixture of directories, articles, blogs, blog comments, and profile links.
The site ranked well for a number of keywords being on G page 1 but on Thursday 21st April the site dropped out of site on all the keywords that it had ranked so well for, I now cant find the site in the first 20 pages. The site is still indexed by by G so they havent penalised by delisting it. Do you think it is possible that G has given it a slap and pushed it out for the keywords? I have only managed to find it listed on page 14 for the product name linked with the search term.
I guess it could be the famous G sandbox but I have never believed in this and havent had any other site suffer from it.
The thing is I donbt want to spend any more time working on this site if it isnt likely t come back, I would rather register a new domain and start again.
Has anyone else experienced this and is it likely to recover or is it now permanently damaged?
Any advice would be appreciated
