Hey guys,
I'm thinking of applying to Peerfly because I heard they are quite easy to get into and don't call you. I heard that after a few days of your account life, they ask you to send a copy of your ID to them. I'm wondering if this is true or not?

That's true but I've seen people get accepted into the network without that stuff.

I signed up with them yesterday and they asked for:

1. Photo ID
2. Phone number to PIN verify

But I was accepted within a few hours.

Did they ask you for your photo ID when you applied or after you completed your profile? I have two accounts(I made one last year but never went through with verifying). On one of them it's asking me to verify my phone number and upload photo id. On my newly created one, all it says is to complete my profile which just says to enter my phone number and my SSN. So will they ask for my photo id on my second account if I complete the profile info?

I didn't get asked for ID (I don't live in the USA). I did however have to provide a phone number so they could send me a pin. No biggie. They are a legit company. Infact the ID is just to crack down on the amount of fraud that is involved with CPA nowadays, so it is commendable that they are taking that extra step.

The problem is I don't really have an ID since I'm only 16... do you think if I IM'ed them about my problem, they could just validate my account w/o the ID?

I had to send a photo of an ID, and give a phone number. It was worth it, PeerFly is a pretty solid network. I just took the ID picture with a phone cam in low light, so only my name, matching my application, was legible.

Can't blame them, really. If I was running an aff. network, I'd put in little barriers like that to keep as much of the riff-raff out as possible.

Lol that's pretty awesome taking a picture in low light so that only your name shows up. I think I might try it out and see how it works.

I signed up maybe a couple of months ago, no phone call no ID verification. just a automated phone verfication if i remember correctly. It may have changed, or depends on what country you come from.

Yes I got approved after few hours, only automated phone verification (PIN)
I think its quite easy

Wow you guys are lucky... only phone verification. I have to actually send a copy of my ID... maybe cuz I'm from United States which sucks

i dint hv to go for phone verification too....after the application,i jus contacted the AM to review the application and ws accepted.
P.S. Address in India

Did you guys use a free e-mail address to register with PeerFly (i.e. Hotmail) or did you use an e-mail from a domain you own?

So, are you in???

Naw not yet haven't been able to get a hold of my passport yet. Need to find where my mom put it lol... but hopefully I'll get accepted. I'm also thinking about going into Neverblue.. so yeah

I also just had to give them my phonenumber. The ID is apparently only if you're from the US, but they just need to check your name. Too many fake accounts probably and maybe also for the taxinformation also...
