Hi!

I guess p2p crypto is very region-specific, what fiat payments are available in your location? Which p2p desk / exchange shows best liquidity?

i'm about 10+ years in p2p on a local market

I’ve used both Bisq and LocalCoinSwap quite a few times as both an on and off ramp for crypto. Both are solid platforms with a good variation of different payment options, other than P2P often having a bigger learning curve than traditional CEXs I do think it’s good to be able to navigate through different platforms in case you need it whenever in the future.

Im trying to become a dedicated vendor on it. Just looking for resources to learn anything that I might need to know.

I frequently do p2p trades on Bybit. The possibility of scam is there, you might want to use trusted platforms. Though I don't do it as biz/job. Just to swap crypto to local currency.

Did you ever have problems with payment processors banning you for too many transactions?
My bank considered a large number of transactions per day to be suspicious and blocked my account. It took a whole day to restore access. I gave up on this type of trading.

P2P crypto trading can be convenient, but it’s important to stick with trusted platforms and use escrow for safety.

Shameful how they feel the need to that over something that is generally legal.

I’ve done some P2P trading before. It can be a good way to get started, but make sure you always use the platform’s escrow service and only trade with well-rated users. It helps minimize risk.

I got my bank account frozen once, the guy taken the crypto and then filed a complain in cyber crime that I have stolen his money lol

Lots of scammers in p2p trading these days. Need to be very cautious.

P2p is a thing in mostly underserved populations where there are fewer options. Its a pretty risky business model. Bad actors can send you "tainted" payments and thereby get your bank account(s) flagged. Its a very difficult thing to operate in today's world without bank accounts.

Call your bank and explain to them what happened and also report the case to your country's law court and your bank account will be unfrozen and you will still have your money.

Alot of people do that but make sure the person sending any bank payment to you, that his bank name and the p2p verified name is the same. Also request for a detailed payment screenshot that carries your name and his own name and amount. With this in place, you won't have any issues l.
