Both are good but better is Guest posting. It will easily boost your domain authority if done correctly. What I mean is there are some points you should consider before doing guest posting.

1. Site should have high DA.

2. Site should be unique.

3. Site should be from your related niche

4. Is it Do-follow?

5. Number of outgoing links from a web page.
