PDF Sharing Will work?

Hi,

I have a job site and i posted tips/current affairs mostly in blogs and relvent sites. I am planning to share them in PDF format. Will it work? Shall i get a quality back link? What is your opinion on this?

PDF sharing works but Backlinks are 10X better...
