I have been a windows guy my whole life. With that said, I decided to get myself 2017 5k 27" iMac in January and it's amazing. It's A LOT more stable than Windows. It doesn't have those retarded automatic updates. It's super easy to use and since most of my days go by writing software, it's absolutely sweet as hell. I really don't miss anything from Windows and now if anyone says that you can't customize MacOS or you can't do this or that.. well, I really don't care. All I care about is having a nice environment to build software which looks great and is stable and Mac is superb in this case, at least for me. Now you might say, oh Diplomat, iMac is expensive as hell and it's overpriced and shit.. Well, it's just money man, you can always get more money. And those who say you can't game on macs.. shit, yes you can and you can do it nicely in 2k or 4k resolution. 5k.. not so much. It's also extremely quiet. Compared to my old machine, it's like going from New York city to a forest, you can't hear it when you are not doing heavy lifting.
So yeah, for me, Mac is great. For nerds who want to tweak their computers or poor people, mac is pretty bad choice.

Using Windows on the VPS only and always prefer to work with a mac and been using mac for last few years. Mac is a cream where u got the most out of everything. For designing mac is always preferred. Mac's are costly but IDGAF. I love it and also been using iOS and they make your life so easy when you use the apple ecosystem.
