Okay i have a new pc.... and need to transfer all my files from this pc to the new one....

    they both have internet
    both at windows xp

dont have an external harddrive..... or usb keys

the file i need to transfer is 6.28 GB (6,752,685,981 bytes)......

I dont want to split it and then upload the parts to rapidshare and then download as it will take years :p

there has to be another way.... so if anyone knows of it and can show me then please do :) i dont want to have to use my 256mb key or re-compress all the files and folders etc

btw i have only been using the pc that i need to transfer the files from for 2 months and already have soooo much data its unbeleivable... (no songs or movies or software [except xrumer] included in that either).

    Thanks
    lewi

Download and install http://www.radmin.com/ on both computers and then just transfer it over.

you could always plug both into modem ( cant remember the right word )

and share with local network should not be too hard ;)

You may want to interconnect the computers into a local network.
This needs some basic knowledge of PC networking.

Or you may use your screwdriver to move the HDD from one of the computers into the other, if you are confident with hardware setup.

Use this method at your risk.
