PBNs vs Guest Posts

I don't know why so many people are keen on creating their PBNs?

However, this is my OP. Please correct if I'm wrong.

Why I would go for guest posts rather than PBNs.

1. First of all creating your PBN from scratch is takes a lot of time and i'ts not an easy process.

2. If you want to buy your PBNs that could be expensive.

3. Even if you don't agree with the 2 points of mine, the risk is still higher than guest posts. I mean Higher, and I know that there's risk also for guest posts but not as PBNs.

Why Guest Posts?

1. Safer because you get link from an established website. In my niche I really go with sites with organic traffic which much safer.

2. Hmmm this is a little bit not proven, but I think they could cost cheaper. Of course if you make a list and outreach them always.

3. No headache, simple, fast.

People choose PBNs over guest posts due to cost. You can build a 50 site PBN for $500 if you have time and patience. $500 won't get you much for guest posts. Maybe 5 lackluster posts, 1 medium to strong post.

Although if your onpage sucks backlinks aren't going to do much regardless of where they are from.
