PBN's Are New To Me - Feedback Appreciated

I'm just starting to get back into SEO. I haven't done much developing in the last few years, and I'm trying to catch up on some new techniques. The more I read about PBN's the more intrigued I am.

Can anyone give me some input on whether it's worth the time to setup a PBN? Note: I plan on publishing to the PBN over time and I'm not looking for a quick fix to blast a bunch of links.

Also I'm considering grabbing scrapebox and was wondering if it's worth the $100?

Yeah, a Private Blog Network is 100% worth the time it takes to set up and the money you will invest. Learn how to do it right (avoid footprints) so Google doesn't sniff it out. Start out by properly learning how to check for quality backlinks built to aged domains. SEO metrics like Domain Authority can be faked, but you can't fake knowing how to check for spammy link portfolios.

I think every SEO (white, black or whatever hat color you like) should have a PBN for linking or testing purposes. When setup properly, they work. That is the key though. I'd do exhaustive research on how to set it up correctly before you take a stab at it.

Yes Scrapebox is worth the $100 easily. I'm also a big fan of Screaming Frog and GSA.

Is there a guide on the details of building a PBN? I am gladly willing to pay for it OR trade (I am a programmer and systems admin).

A PBN will cost some money, but it is worth every penny. The best thing about a PBN is you can control everything. If your money site will somehow get a penalty, your PBN will probably be fine, so you can point it to another money site.

PBN is worth it and scrapebox is quite useful for SEO purposes and its less than $60.

Thanks! I have been compiling information setting up the PBN, looks like all kinds of tactics, but some common things to do:

-Buy Aged Domains with as much DA/PA as possible and as high a PR as possible
-Ensure all domains are on different IPs and preferably different hosting as IPs that are all on the same box (or rack) will have the same traceroute
-Some say you can use wordpress for all sites, just change up the themes, others say use as many different website builders as possible (wordpress, static html, joomla, bolt, concrete5, drupal, etc)
-Build different profiles with various social media sites and use different IPs to connect to each account. Depending upon how industrious you want to get, you can get a VPN and proxies and keep track of which ones you use for which accounts so you do no use the same IP for two different social media logins (clear cookies, swap out browser you use doesn't hurt either)
-I have seen people argue that quality content is crucial here, others say it is not that important, save quality for your money site


I have a question regarding multiple money sites. Can/should you link to multiple money sites from your PBN? I would think that it would look unnatural to NOT link to multiple sites from the PBN sites.

I have seen people argue that all of your PBN sites should be in the same genre and I have thought that looks odd too? Thoughts?

Can a PBN include web 2.0 sites?

Remember the key thing with PBN's these days is keeping your identity as private as the blog network itself.
