PBN vs 301

So I used DOMCOP to crawl an authority site in my niche; and I found a competitor's domain (their business no longer exists) but the site exists on archive.

Should I restore the site - and link it to my site ; or just do a 301 redirect ?


What are the pros and cons of both ? I'm new to this thing...

Restore the site. Build it based on previously used content but link to your site.

I am also not a fan of restoring sites, it kills the content relevancy if the niche isn't spot on.
