Does it matter if the backlink profile of a potential future private blog is full of foreign (russian?) backlinks even if the domain has high authority (by high I mean about 25-30), good trust factor, and good citation flow?

Do you think good cares about citation flow, trust flow, or "domain authority". Those are all 3rd party metrics, I can get those ranking high ALL day with shit backlinks.

So step back from the situation and ask yourself this "would you want those backlinks for your money site"? Be honest.

Completely. The backlinks pointing to your PBN site ARE the backlinks you essentially are trying to capitolize on and get pointed towards your site.
Ignore 3rd party metrics for the most part, because high ranking sites may have low DA/PA/TF/CF because their PBN sites are blocked. And really Google could care less about those metrics.

What @patriotnews said. Metrics are a general guideline, but oftentimes they are pretty off topic. If you want to focus on something, focus on RD, that's basically a fact more than a metric, so take it from there. And if you want to focus on some metric, then go with TF and ignore the rest.

If the site was legit, then it doesn't matter that it has Russian links. In contrary to public opinion, not everything coming from Russia is toxic. Vodka is fine for example. Feel free to send me the domain via PM and I will gladly check it for you.
