PBN Setup Question

I'm looking to set up a PBN for my own use, i had one in the past (5-6 yrs ago) but sold the whole thing as i did not have any more interest in SEO at that time.

Questions :
- hosting - is it still important? one domain per IP? only A / B / C class ips? what's currently the cheapest and most efficient option for hosting? back in the day, i used multiple cheap shared hosting providers and it worked fine. today, maybe there's a chance to use cloud hosting providers (digital ocean / amazon / google)? or maybe even use the same ip (behind cloudflare)? not sure tho, what's your opinion on this
- aged domain link profiles - what to look for here? ahrefs / semrush domain authority is enough? or do i have to go through the link profile manually and make sure it's mostly quality links? what's the process here?
- domain quantity / quality - i currently have 5-10 domains i'm looking at (and will purchase for sure as the metrics make senses and they also have some high quality links). will that be enough to get some decent results? or do i need more? will 5 high quality domains work better than 25 low quality ones? what do you think (or know)?
- existing link redirection - let's say i have domain-a.com and it gets a link from cnn.com to domain-a.com/inner-page. should i 301 all the missing pages to the home page or recreate domain-a.com/inner-page with slightly the same content as it had before ?
- finally, content - should i keep each blog targeted on a very specific niche or can i go broad while keeping a decent / siloed internal structure? what works best here? i have 10 or so different niches i want to build links to, so having each blog in the PBN with a different content theme just to link to that same content theme money site might not be the best option - not sure, what do you think?

Anything else i missed, any other tips / tricks related to PBN setup are most welcome.

- Yes, one domain per IP. Use different hosting providers, if possible. You can try Cloudflare, too.
- Yes, go through the link profile manually.
- Domain quantity / quality strongly depends on the Keywords and competition.
- I'd go with recreation of the pages, which have backlinks pointing to them.
- Keep it niche-specific and add relevant content regularly. You can use AI for fresh content.

What I can say, however (from accidentally reading a lot on PBNs on the forum) is that niches do matter. So, if you have the means to get 5-10 niche-specific domains for each one of your money sites that'd be better than having 100 general sites. Also, when acquiring expired domains it's always better to choose good domains first and choose the niche for those domains based on their previous content history. This I know from @Nargil who, by the way, has many great (great as in clean and safe) expired domains should you ever need them, so you might want to check him out...

And yeah, 1 domain per IP is still a requirement... But anyway, check the guide that I've linked you with above, it really goes into all of the nitty-gritty details on how to set up PBNs in 2022

Yes. PBN's still work. But you need to target 10+ to your specified niche
