For PBNs that have posts in the inner pages, what usually happens to rankings once it rolls over to inner pages?

In the beginning, do you see a uptick and then a downtick? How good are pbn's as tier 1's long term?

The best way is to stay on homepage. Even better for long term rankings and security is to have your own PBNs. In this case you can leave all your posts on homepage.

1. You mean once they move to page 2 and beyond? Homepage links are certainly more valuable. But it's not like inner page links are useless. They still have some value, especially if they have numerous internal links from category, tag, archive pages etc.

2. I've seen affiliate sites ranking for 1-2 years straight with a dedicated PBN. They aren't that high-quality PBNs either. Just made-for-links sites on unrelated expired domains. So, if you build PBNs using niche-relevant domains, and high quality content they should stick literally forever. But these PBNs are rare. If you were talking about PBN posts sold in the marketplace and similar services, I wouldn't bet on their longevity.

Yes, this is what you'll see. The down is less than the rise that you get.

I use both but on the homepage there more powerful as thats where the juice directly is flowing.

There's no way to make it look natural and still keep them on the home page.

If this were a real link, and you were featured on CNN. You would have your 15 minutes glory on the home page then it would move in. This is the natural link behavior. No link stays on homepage forever. Make your PBN links look natural, that's the main thing to keep in mind, always.

Not exactly impossible, especially for sites with static homepages.

As long as the posts have a link from the homepage, the rankings shouldn't go down that much.

Most of the website owners are willing to have their posts stick to their homepage Permanently so that they will Receive consistent Juice from PVN links. They have a general thought that the rankings will decrease when the post moves to inner page. Actually it's pretty good thing to move To inner pages to make it look more natural. Let the post move to inner page and keep new posts on homepage for sometime to balance the link juice, this is one of the trick employed by top Successful tankers. You need to build links at a regular interval to stay in your rankings.

Building your own private network of blogs will be one of the best way to stay at the top. There are plenty of methods shared here on BHW on how to maintain a PBN more private without any footprints. Follow a method and rank yourself.

PBN for tier-1's are Usually not advised by most of the experts as it will not last long and it may harm your site if an update comes from the G.

If PBN is not for tier-1's then what is the best for tier 1? Web 2.0 such as wordpress ,etc? or citations? But won't the link juice be weaker instead?

You need links that stick on the homepage. You can however tier up your internal links to pass more juice to them.

I use both, posts on homepage and individual article too. Homepage contextual backlinks works better for me.

As long as the pages were indexed, it really doesn't matter much. It's just easier for search engines to index the posts when they are on homepage. Even if they are not, they will eventually get cached as long as the sites they are at have a "crawlable" structure.
