Hello guys,

I want to know, if i point PBN backlinks with only naked url as anchor to my money site.. Will i get similar results like i used exact match acnhors ? What do you think ?

No you will not.

Well placed Ema (exact match anchor) from a PBN site is a very powerful thing. Naked URL just doesn't hold that much punch. It is more powerful when you have a keyword in the domain OR page URL, but still.

On the other hand... wrongly placed Ema can get you over-optimized which naked URL does only in rare cases.

Naked URL anchor from PBN is much more powerful than from a 2.0 for example tho.

Obviously exact-match anchor texts will be more powerful, but as above, you have to be careful not to over-optimize with too many ema links.

Naked URLs are normally used for balancing the ratio between anchor text backlinks and naked URLs.

In fact the results will vary. When you use EMA, its more like Accurate or to the point. When you use it, the results might be predictable and when you go for Naked urls and mix of both, it becomes more natural.

For hard competition keyword you need to use exact match and if you are going for long term and medium keywords , brand anchors are good option.

With my opinion, naked URL doesn't give much result as like we used for specific keywords. You can use of our brand keywords which give better result.

Depends on the keyword competition you can use both brand and exact match anchors. Both will boost your ranking depends on the ration between the brand and exact match anchors you are using.

Btw, Naked URL is also used for the diversity and look natural to the eyes of the Big G.

It's good to diversify. Some anchors, some targetted kw anchors.

No, you won't get the same results. Use both, anchor and naked url.

Time? You mean timing?

So I have to add the exact links after a certain period of time, otherwise I'd get analed by google?

Yes, definitely timing matters. Especially when you do it too soon you run at a risk of over-optimizing.

I personally never start with Ema as my first anchor text these days.

New domain
I pump naked URL, Brand
wait..............
after a few months, i pump Exact Match
wait.....
after a few month i pump Brand/naked URL

Basically i alternate them

educating myself and having a little trouble following... just wondering what "Ema" means ? when you said you never start with Ema as your first anchor text these days, what do you mean exactly. Ive just started optimizing 3 sites I picked up. Looking to have a little PBN but am seeing stuff that makes me worry Im coming at it too hard and possible optimizing too heavily too soon.

No, you won't get the same effect. In fact, based on my tests, you will get ZERO juice from that link.
Anchored links still win.

Ema simply means Exact match anchor. Your primary keyword only as anchor text.

Just my little personal slang for it. But it seems it's starting to catch on :)

When you start with it as your very first anchor text, you are pretty much asking for over-optimization right away. I'm not saying it will 100% happen. But it might.

Better start with safe anchors then hit it with Emas later on.

ahhhh gotcha!! yeah.. I just started so I dunno that google caught wind of it yet but I was totally blowing it..
thanks for the clarification.. Im scrambling now to go back in and change this all up. I was EMA'ing so harrrrd on my first 2 PBN's. You'd cringe. I actually EMA'd the headline <h3> :0 ugh.. huge no no Im assuming
