Hi, I have several questions about PBNs as I am new with link building,

First of all, I try to rank a french authority website.

What about the anchor text I should use on the articles I'll post on my PBN ? Is it better to use the naked url rather than random keywords I try to rank on my website ?

Let's say my website is about "cats" in general, is it better to use the naked URL linking to the root domain like "mywebsite.com" as the anchor text or it's better to focus on a specific keyword like "litter for cats" or "toys for cats" linking to the post like "mywebsite.com/litter-for-cat.html" or to use genereci keywords ?

Moreover, as of today I've found 5-6 expired domains related to my niche that I consider to be good for a PBN, spam free, BL from authority sites in my niche... The problem is that I don't know where to host them... Does the location of the website hosting matter ? Should they all be located in France/Belgium/Any french speaking country... or it's OK to be hosted in Poland, Germany, USA... ? Would you recommend to host them on a seo hosting site (like http://www.ixwebhosting.com/) or not ?

You need to diversify your anchor text to make it look more natural. Both Naked URL and specific keyword anchor text can be used when it comes to PBN. But make sure you link them accordingly, naked URL to homepage and keywords to the relevant page.

Regarding the hosting, I don't think its an issue to host your blog on different locations as far as you are not leaving any footprints. Good Luck!

I found a good hosting platform to be easy blog networks. Most of the setup is done automatically and they make sure you leave no footprints as far as the hosting part of it goes. As Take Action said, mix up your anchor text. Straight urls, the name of your site and just some links from pics. I wouldn't link to your site in every single post either. And when you do link maybe include an additional link to an authority site like Wikipedia or some large well known site.

All the best with it.

Use much larger percentage of brand anchors with few targeted anchor keywords backlinks.

It is always better to have posts targeting specific keywords and then use naked urls linking to them for most of the backlinks with few targeted anchor text backlinks to go with it.

If/ you can find decent hosts in French speaking countries that would be way better, though this is a very minor ranking factor but overall you would be showing yourself as interested in targeting the French language speaking community.

Ok, thanks for your information. If the hosting location is not a huge factor in terms of ranking then I'll go with a SEO hosting with different IP for each domain. Do you guys have any recommendations ?

In my opinion, is better to use keywords as anchor text, but don't use the same keyword every time (try to diversify). And about hosting, it is not an important factor to be located only in french speaking countries.

SEO hosting is not recommended in so many ways. As you can't diversify the nameserver in this case. Go with unique shared hosting instead.

To rank your keywords you must have to use them in anchor text during backlinks production.

I disagree. Naked URLs and generic anchors are best left to web 2.0s and other methods of link-building. PBNs......that's where you stock up on your keyword anchor percentages. Why waste a good domain with a 'click here' anchor? Makes no sense in hiding the domains, hosting them, paying over the odds for decent ones, spending time hunting and filtering through thousands of domains to get a 'click here'.

Really....this place man.

Use your most important keywords in your pbn
Then use naked url links and and brand in other web 2.0 or comments
