Hey, so I'm on the look out for more domains to add to my PBN and I stumbled upon a domain that had pretty good metrics.

DA PA TF CF
16 30 14 25

When I checked the backlinks of the domain I found that it had about 3 backilinks coming from Ehow and they were also quite old backlinks that are still active I can tell because the Ehow Webpages that are linking to the site have PR ranging from 1 and 4. I just want to know are powerful nofollow backlinks like these worth it? As you can see the domain has good metrics and good history as well would appreciate any sort of advice.

Thanks

TF/CF ratio is 0.56. You want it to be greater than 0.8.

Nofollow backlinks pass no equity and it looks like the do-follow backlinks are not from great websites. I would skip this one.

Thanks for the quick reply really appreciate it, I would like to ask another question as well I've encountered it quite frequently. I know domain metrics should not be taken too serioulsy but what about those domains that have a big difference between DA and PA? I have found domains that have had good backlinks and everything looks pretty good but is this something I should be concerned with?

Thanks

GO for backlinks mate... Especially more ******** backlinks from authority sites. RD also matters much. If you are going to buy a domain with just 5 RD's, then its not going to last long...

Thanks by the way the domain has about 70 refering domains handful if them have PR1 webpages i kno its not important now but shows they old pages

High PA will help a certain page to rank however if you have high DA you can rank for all pages of your website but it's easy to fake this stuff. The important is the quality of the links and also check the domains in wayback machine to see if they are abused.

70 Refering domains

70 RD is good and with links like ehow it also must have better links from other domains. Analyse all the backlinks and take the decision. But generally i have seen links from ehow etc are natural, you cannot otherwise access a link there. So, they definitely carry weight.

Ya thats the thing the links from ehow are all relevant and as reference pages for the 3 diffrent articles on ehow.

the backlink is the important for google because it ill only help to increase page rank dude so just try to concentrate in tht

I just use metrics to filter the domains then I check there backlinks for quality. Btw this was an expired domain not auction so just need to pay standard registration fee.

Metrics can be manipulated, checking the backlinks should be the key to pick up the domains.

If I were you then I will check quality of other backlinks and way back. If both are good and spam free then I will surely go for it.
