    Hi guys,
I would like to setup my own german PBN using expired domains (com/net/org--> Getting .de is quite difficult, there are no auctions). I have read a lot in this forum about setting it up but in some ways the advice is not clear.
    1. When catching expireds is it important to catch only domains within your niche or it doesn't matter which topic, just put in some new content related to your niche (rebrand it)? Here I found different advices.
    2. Is there a problem using expireds with another language and then switch to german language with new content? Could this be a footprint?

There is no bullet proof method when it comes to PBNs. So u will get different answers for the same question. Here is my answer:
    1. Ideally u need only niche domains for ur PBN. These domains will work better in terms of ranking. But they are difficult to find and expensive. So u can use other domain with basically the same results.
    2. It would be a prooblem if that website still has pages indexed in its original language. I ve encountered this issue in the past. In this case websites get devalued by G.

    1. If you use the link injection method developed by Hayden of nohatdigital then you don't need to worry about getting domains in the same niche.

    2. If you have historically english domains and switch them all to german, it is a definite footprint. I wouldn't do this for any more than 20% and even then I would hesitate in changing the language - not really sure how google treats that. Also, I do see .com sites written in German so I would consider those in addition to .de

Finally I have 100 or so .de domains (da 20+ or higher) in my database of 42 million domains I've scraped so I can send you a list if you like. I'm sure it will take some sifting through to find clean ones but I expect they will be a lot more prevalent than if you go through a .com list. Send me a pm and I can shoot them to you.

Btw, what happens with .de domains if there are no auctions? They just get dropped? Maybe it is easier to find a good dropped .de domain than looking for mediocre ones on auctions?

Try the xenu method to find dropped .de domains.
Basically you will need to scrape some authority .de domains, check for all the external links and put them in xenu. After this you will have a list with dropped domains that you can put them in netpeak checker and manually check their backlink profile.
    Tools you need for this:

    -scrapebox
    -xenu
    -netpeak

Thanks, would be nice. I will send you pm.
Problem with german .de domains is:
    1. You don't know when they are dropping exactly. There are some big guys who grab with their own servers within seconds. No chance to get got ones, only the rest shit they leave.
    2. You need german citizen in whois. No Whois protect possible, so here is the nex footprint if don't have 30 familiy members.
