PBN or Guest Post for indonesia ranking seo

Hi BHW !
Im really new with SEO and im here to learn about how to rank my site in indonesia region
Some said especially for indonesia region PBN are the best, But upon research i have also read that "Quality over quantity" which mean a small hand of good guestpost will beat thousands quantity of PBN


my reason to make this thread is to know and understand what is the facts about it?
I am trying to decide if i go for PBN or quality Guest post .

Anyone have experience please help me solve this question.

Yes, they are popular there.

Guest posts serve for trust, PBN for power.

If your project is long-term, go for quality over quantity. With both PBN and guest post. If they are quality you can use both.

If short term I would go full PBN blast with other link types mixed in.

There are certain metrics you'll need to look at before choosing the PBNs, High quality PBN backlinks really help to your site.
 
Both work well and it also depends on the quality of the backlinks. As advised by @tiiberius, if it is your long term project you can mix both the guest posts and PBNs. Also, solely using one of the sources is not a good strategy. You need to mix them to diversify your link profile and it will be good efficient.

Higher quality one as tier 1. Lower as tier 2.

You can consider several factors, Ex: Moz and Ahrefs metrics, If the site has good DA, DR, and RD values with low spam scores, You can choose it,

Also, Make sure the article is relevant and quality which you get backlinks.
