Hey OP,
Just link as many time as you want as long as it brings you results. When it stops, it means you need more sites in your PBN. Of course it won't look natural, but even thinking about building links is a blackhat approach in Google's eyes these days, so just stick to what works.
I've personally ran numerous tests and discovered that linking just once from 1 PBN site to a money site is a waste of your PBN. I've ran this test on a PBN of 50 sites and linked at least 3 times from each domain (different pages/article though) with different anchor text and always pushed my terms on the first page.
Does it look natural? Well, in a way no.

Diversify the hosting and stay away from SEO hosting they are dead giveaway.
That's somewhat like link pyramid. If you have a weak domains then they are basically useless,
interlinking them smartly is a good idea and would make them stronger.
You can have 1000+ PBN but ensure it's properly setup.
For efficiency and to avoid leaving footprint you need to control the OBL and also stick with one niche per PBN.

Nah it wont. You can have 300 sites in same host and IPs and you will be fine no problem. Also dont worry about who.is stuff.

You should absolutely point your PBN to about 5 sites (15 total links). But if you point your PBN to almost identical IPs, it absolutely gives Google an opportunity to discover your network. So I would think about some more diverse hosting. At 5 sites, it might not be even in Google's radar, but best practice would be at least a couple hosts.
