PBN Linking Method - Case Study In Progress

Thank you for your previous response! I have a couple of PBNs set to go and I have a few questions about the the links:
1. In each PBN, how many links should be going to the money site?
2. If there should be two links or more, should they be directed to the home page AND the specific URL in my money site?
3. Where should these links be placed? (I know that it's recommended to place a link in the first paragraph, but I wasn't sure what type of link this should be).
Thanks!

Once you create a blog post do you place an OBL immediately or once it gets indexed?

PBN stats that are a minimum requirement for me is this:
Min 20 RD, fewer links are acceptable if they are of high quality.
Not earlier used as PBN or some foreign language stuff.
Mostly pick up domains that do not have been spammed with too many keyword anchors.

What is your source for expired domains?

Need some tips on finding good PBN

I used scraper and found some good domain but I have two issue
1. Some domain having Chinese domain hosted after it got expired by original owner which i found using wayback machine.
2. Some domain having 301 or 404 redirect to another URL which i found in wayback machine.
Is it safe to buy this kind domain for PBN. All matrix and Anchor was looking no SPAM and RD and backlinks also fine.

A big APOLOGY to everyone for having missed to reply, looks like BHW stopped sending notifications of the thread as and when comments get posted.

Your case study has been invaluable so far. Just a question about how you handle 301s?

Say your expired domain has links coming old links to the site on old pages: /page1 and /page 2 and /page3.....

Do you redirect those pages to the home page? or Would you try to re-create a page url so the old link hits a real page? or allow a 404 to stand? or redirect all 404s to the home page?

I redirect all 404 to homepage, I don't use any plugins but uses a php script in the 404 template and just redirect. Basically the 404 page itself is redirected to homepage.

Number of OBL depends on the quality of the PBN. However it is wise to restrict to 4-5 links or if they are auction/non-dropped domains then it can be up to 10OBLs.
Linking correctly, I would prefer to send it to the actual money site URL rather than homepage if you are not targeting it to rank. From PBNs send links to direct anchor texts for UTLs that you wish to rank.

Once you create a blog post do you place an OBL immediately or once it gets indexed?

Place the links immediately so that the link also gets indexed along with blogpost.

I use to self scrape but have found few sources who regularly keeps scraping for me.

Chinese language is generally domains that have been used as PBNs for their purpose, keep away.

If you find a 301 redirect and if it is a genuine business redirection (like old business domain moved to a new domain) then that domain can be picked up. If you find an SEO redirect, just forget about that domain.

I am not quite sure whether this has been discussed over here, but after having read some case studies by some SEO Gurus  i went ahead and tried it for 2 sites. The method is ranking your PBN Tier 1 links for longtail keywords in the niche and then linking to your money site for the main/exact anchor keywords with high competition.

So far, i found mixed results. One site has got Page 1 rankings with just 30 PBN links for 68k searches per month keyword. 14 of 30 PBNs are ranking on Page1/2 for many longtail phrases. Second site just moved from 38 to 18 in SERPs. Have 30 PBN links for 54k searches per month keyword. 12 of 30 PBNs are ranking on Page 1/2 for longtails.

Only one positive i noted from these case studies. The money site have shown up on first 4 pages of SERPs for all those longtails (where PBNs are ranking) without any link to money site with those keywords. Since the rankings are yet to settle down, hopefully we should have the full information in about 2 weeks time.

Any thoughts !

Could you tell us about your competition

How many pa da 40 plus sites on first page,, etc

What do you do to hide your PBNs from being discovered by competitors in the space?

Competition is fierce. Primary keyword have got webmd health.com and Wikipedia as competition. But only advantage is that those competitors have got only few pages about the ailment while my site provides information in about 25 pages. I keep adding at least 2-3 articles every month which includes the latest medical developments in the field of research for cure of that ailment.

I use the bad bot blocker feature of All in One SEO WP plugin to block all backlink crawlers.

hi, can you tell me how you host them? Are you hosting 1 pbn only for per hosting or at least 5 pbn per host?

1 PBN per host. I use mainly premium hosts which costs anywhere from $3-$8 per month. Of course I throw in couple of $1-$2 per month hosts in between.

I haven't read the whole thread, I have to admit. I have been doing it like this for 2 years now and yes, it's pretty powerful method, but there is one really huge downside.

That downside is, that as you said, your PBN websites will be ranking for the keywords somewhere in Serp. Very often even for your main money site keyword. That way, even though you hide your PBN domains from crawlers and spiders, your competition won't have too much of a hard time to discover some of your websites. And as we know, people are being super cuntish in this regard lately, mass reporting and all. Aren't you afraid of that?

Well, I would say this risk is in every niche. Even if you hide your PBNs crazy still there are methods to uncover them. Someone is cuntish in your niche you can hardly do anything other than to target that cun*. BTW this is a very high prize niche, all competition is either high authority sites or real genuine blogs and sites who are not monetising them. So, I don't think I will have issues in the near future but yes, there is that probability.

Yes, outranking them basically due to quality and quantity of content.

Oh wow, I think it's weird that You didn't get penalized. Isn't a very important factor in SEO to diversify links? How does this method work so successfully? I am kinda doing the same so I am worried about getting penalized. Thanks.
I have seen competitors who ranked only with t2 sites and pbn only without profile creation, web 2.0 ,article submission, so yea its safe even though you don't diversify links.

Hi one more question. is your PBN's related to your niche before expiring? And did you built PBN which is related to your niche after you bought them?

No, they were not niche related. I repurposed it to be in the same niche as money site.

Yes, except the search engines almost everything else is blocked.

1,Do you mean if block the crawlers, then some backlink tools like moz, ahrefs, and other backlinks checker tool cann't find you pbn backlink?
2,How to block the crawlers? As we usually use wordpress for the pbn,is there any script to put on the host to block the crawlers.

Answers below:

I use two levels of block crawlers, one at hosting IP level, have used a script to blacklist all the backlink crawler IPs at cPanel and then have used the "Bad Bot Blocker" feature of wordpress plugin "All in One SEO"

If you are using wordpress then use the plugin "All in One SEO" or any other bot blocker in WP repository. You can also blacklist the crawler bot IPs within cPanel.

Thank you for your reply - Sristy :)

Recently,I set up 4 pbn sites. (A,B,C,D)
A B indexed by google in less than 24 hrs;
C,D still wasn't indexed by google after 4 days(24hrsX4).
Just very confused.

The different from the AB and CD is the webhost.other aspect are the same.
A use blogger host,B use dreamhost
C,D website use cheap hosting.(PS,I dont have so much money for hosting)

So,I am thinking maybe it is the host ip cause the problem.

Now that was happened,so I just want to ask.

1.Can C,D website will be index if I add more content?Or should I changing the hosts?

2.Why I cannt find ""Bad Bot Blocker" feature of wordpress plugin "All in One SEO"" on my wordpress dashboard?
