PBN Linking Method - Case Study In Progress

Thank you for your reply. But do you have any specific setup in mind where you use your weakest PBNs on second tier rather then opposite?
Do you ever crosslink between the tires?
But if the money site gets deindexed, dont you think the PBNs will become pretty worthless rather quick? Why would big G even let them stay which enables the very same problem to occur again?
Do you buy domains in order to avoid sandbox mode?

Thanks in advance ^^

I do not look at the power of PBNs when i set up tier 1 or tier 2. I just give the same importance to both. Just that tier 2 would have links pointing to a whole lot of money sites, while tier 1 would just point to 1-4 money sites, that too primarily in the same niche or related niche.
Do you ever crosslink between the tires?
Never, that is a no-go area for me.

Money sites don't always get deindexed for unnatural backlinks but it can happen due to varied reasons and unnatural links are just one form of it. From my experience, even when the money site gets a penalty not all the PBNs are de-indexed. I have never had the whole network go down because of a money site penalty. Rather the highest number of de-indexing in a day i have experienced is 3. But never the complete network goes down unless you did something seriously wrong or your competitor reports it. Which is why protecting your PBN from prying eyes is also equally important as backlink building. Hence, i take the premium hosting, IP neighborhood checks etc seriously.

Also, if you ask me G is scourging the internet using bots and there are no real human reviewers as i have seen real PBN blogs looking like "Money Site" getting deindexed while blogs screaming PBN staying alive for years. But i could connect the dots using bad IP neighborhood as one of the main reason for G bots going into overdrive.

Whenever you get hosting, take a look at the websites hosted on your IP, you will be surprised to see some of them :P

Thanks once again for a great explanation. Ok so I feel like i learned a thing or two here, especially regarding the fear factory ;)

I only have 3 webstores which all exist in the same nische, but I cant figure out a way to link to all of them without creating a pattern. You and many others have much more options since you have more money sites, where if I were to link to all 3 money sites from one PBN would be ok... but if i did it on the second, third and fourth PBN.. id run a high risk of creating a very easy pattern to recognize.

Do you suggest moving away from the webhost even though you spent time and money setting things up or just keep going/email them about it (lol jk).

I usually keep around 200-300 words per post and i never use my webstore domain, ever. Because its so easy to find the PBNs this way (this is how i easily find competitors PBNs).. but i wont report them since i do not want to have Gs eyes on my nische.

If you have good number of posts in the PBN, u can link them out by avoiding a pattern. Increase the word count a bit on those posts and be smart in linking out. May be some of them can be from the images in the PBN posts.

Check the IP of your PBNs and see other sites hosted on them. If you find too many PBNs on them it is time to move hosts and that also depends on the ROI you are expecting from the niche. If it is worth it then do switch hosts.

Thank you Sristy, I will mix it up as you recommending, most of the PBNs are using only keywords and LSI and some are using "logos" which are images. Especially from german etc.

I must ask you since you seem to know what your talking about, do you think its dangerous to write in italian for example if the domain is german? Also would you try to repurpose domains using GSA to simply create links with italian anchors to make the german domain appear more valid in Gs eyes?

Are u using unique content for Tier 2 also?

What kind of content are you using, real on tier one and spun on tier two?

I never use the GSA or SPAM links to my PBNs, it is just not worth the risk. Repurposing a domain is not a big issue with Google, as most of the general niche domains that i use in PBNs would have been used for a particular niche/industry earlier, even expired domains in the same nichet cannot be matched to our exact needs. But i have not seen a particular issue with Google having issues with repurposed domains. Then again do we have a choice ? Going niche route for PBNs is quite expensive and if your ROI permits it then that is the best method to take.

I am using unique handwritten content on all my PBNs. IMO, spun content reduces the life span of your PBNs. The more it sticks around the more value it provides.

Great job ! i'm interested in how do you rank PBNs :)
Looking forward to the results.

I use PBNs in 2nd tier too, more details are there in many posts above.

wow.. this is great .. do you mind sending me you skype .. will love to set up my own PBN .. with your help am fully ready... thank you

Sorry, i am not on skype. However, you can ask any questions here, that would benefit others as well.

What are your expiriences with deindexing? Have you ever been deindexed ( PBNs )? If yes then what % of your websites got deindexed.
I know when you have 100s of blogs then it is easier to get busted.

Like when you have 1 client/ money site and you link from 20-30-50 of your PBN.

If you don't mind sharing your story about that ;-)

I've seen some big changes in how they rank content now, I strongly suspect Google would go down this path, considering their focus on quality, Good work mate, keep us posted.

Hey Sristy, is their any reason why you choose to rank the Homepages as oppose to the inner page? Do you think theirs any particular benefit to this approach?

Sristy I got few questions:
1) How many links get Tier1 PBN (1 site) from Tier2 PBN's
2) How many words (at all on pages and subpages) have your main keyword money page ?
3) Tier 2 PBN's links to Tier 1 PBN's are also sticky on homepage ?
4) Do You drip feed links on PBN's or place all at once.

Well, when i started out with PBNs it was not this wild a jungle out there, that was way back in 2011. First time i got busted, it was 6 months into my starting out with PBNs. I had 20 PBNs then. Only used to rank my own money sites. One fine morning saw 14 of my domains de-indexed. Back then i thought it was a smart move to host all the sites on a VPS and use reverse proxy service to host the domains. Well, that is how i got busted, bad IP neighborhood. I then grew wiser and right now only hosts with premium hosting services. No proxy IP services or cheap hosts. Not only my personal PBN domains but even those PBNs which service my clients are hosted on the same hosting services.

My PayPal recurring payment screen looks like this everyday.

Right now, deindexing percentage hovers around 2-5% every month. Since we link out to many websites from our PBNs we generally ensure that there is no pattern that can be created, so random selection of blogs to post is one of the method to avoid any pattern footprints.

True, if your content is good then even the deindexation percentage or the longevity of your PBN increases many times than if you were to post spun content.

Since i am positioning each PBN around a longtail keywords it makes it easier to link out from homepage as there are at least 5 articles which are all talking about that keyword, so the niche relevancy is high. Helps in faster rankings IMO.

1. Each tier 1 PBN have got anywhere from 10-40 links from tier 2 depending upon when the site started to rank. I kept building links at a certain rate till the rankings started showing up. I don't follow any dripfeed pattern, just do the linkbuilding in bursts.
2. Article word counts range from 800-1200. In some cases it is just over 500 also. I am liberal with this.
3. Good question. NO, it is not sticky. I don't believe in that theory of homepage posts, as long as the posts are indexed the backlink counts.
4. I do linking in bursts. In a day i do 3, then i keep quite for 2 days, then do 2 more links, then keep calm for 4 days, then do another 4 links. In this fashion, there is no pattern that i am creating.

do you follow any indexing pattern or any specific technique to index whenever you update your pbn. I am having trouble in indexing whenever I update my pbns. The pbn posts dont get indexed for weeks. So I need to wait a long time till it gets naturally indexed.

Between thanks for sharing your experience. Some solid advice in the post

This is awesome sauce! Simple but super effective.

Patterns (footprints) KILL!

Why not see it in the manner that Google is helping you in dripfeeding the links by scattered indexing of your posts ? No need to fret about it. There are various methods to get a post indexed. Post a relevant video from youtube to the post and then create a "video sitemap" using a plugin and then ping that sitemap to Google. It should get indexed in few hours, if not immediate. I have seen posts getting indexed in few minutes with this set up. Try it and let us know how it went :D

Yes, pattern is a killer.

I am using the youtube method and how about the google submit url method with unique email id everytime. Will it create a footprint. But leaving it naturally will be a good drip feeding, thanks for the advice bro.
