PBN Linking Method - Case Study In Progress

PBN stats that are a minimum requirement for me is this:
Min 20 RD, fewer links are acceptable if they are of high quality.
Not earlier used as PBN or some foreign language stuff.
Mostly pick up domains that do not have been spammed with too many keyword anchors.

I don't much believe in metrics as they are not from Google and we are trying to game Google here.

For the case study sites I am not adding any links other than the money site links. Of course, this is the last part of the study to see what are the ranking drops when I start adding links to other sites.

How do you rank PBNs? Do you rank homepage or internal page?
I rank the homepage for that particular longtails as the PBN contains all articles related to that longtail.

I've heard about this strategy long before PBNs became a mainstream SEO strategy, but it's slightly different from this.

Instead of ranking your (PBN) backlinks for related long-tail keywords, you look for pages already ranking in the top 50 or 100 results (the higher the better) and try to get links from them.

How about you repeat the case study for 2 sites targeting exactly the same keyword? Yhe results would be more conclusive. I think the reason for the disparity in the results for both sites is keyword competition.

You get a host new for the pbn
You then get a heigh exspired domain.
Then you re register old 2.0 social accounts.
You look for heigh metric exspired blogs

You add wordpress you add all the links / 2.0 ect to the new wordpress.

You go into all the new exspired stuff and add a link pointing to your website.

Short version only.

When searching for anythink you use the niche your in.

The main pbn domain needs heigh metrics and good backlinks , delete any crap ones.

You must register the new website with google and tgen add the Google code to the new website.

Only a small version above.

Cost

Domain. $5 year
Hosting $6 year

That the cheap way.

This is no way cheap. I host all my domains with premium hosts which cost anywhere from $3-10/ month. But then I get to add more domains into the same account which I use to build various PBN networks. Since I offer PBN backlinks as a service this works cheaper for me. This may not hold good for those targeting just one money site as ROI will defeat the purpose of building PBNs.

I have almost always seen those 1 dollar hosts going out of business one unexpected morning.

Hi sristy, I got questions.. what is RD? Is your PBN and its backlinks related to your money site when you register it? and is it ok to link to other money sites that is not relevant to your PBN? Thanks.

RD is referring domains to the expired domain. I ensure that each domain I pick up hold at least 20 RD.

I do not prefer niche relevancy even when I pick up domains or when I add links, however for this case study I did that. Though I could not find any difference in ranking factors by Google with both types of links.

Interesting post, PBN's are still one of the most effective ranking techniques. 20 RD minimum seems a little low to be honest, the more RD from trustworthy sites ensures that the links from the PBN will be very juicy. Best of luck & be sure to keep us updated!!

You can get really reliable cheap hosting from here at $6 a year and donains not that bad $9 here this forum.

Like i said before if it a servise can be exspensive but u can earn big time as u no.

Once u got a good deal on hosting vps then it domain search .

There no other stuff needed unless you
Need scrapebox

What exspensive except hosting/vps and domain?

Thanks Sristy, another questions:
1. I got a domain from auction but the niche of the domain is not relevant in my money site, so I'll just post articles related to my money site and just make it sticky in the homepage?
2. How many money site/s do you include per pbn?

Thank you :)

Yup true that. The bigger companies who have been in business for a decade are always good option. But they cost so much and if you are not writing content yourself then it becomes so difficult to manage the costs. Besides you end up building different PBNs for different niches .

How are you ranking your tier ones for long tail, i.e are you pointing links at them from other pbns?

Niche is not relevant as far as domain is concerned but the content in same niche does help the money site.

Yes, other PBN links to the longtails.

Update:

Primary keyword hit the No.1 position in Google on 17th July and have been holding on to it. 19 of 30 PBNs are on page 1 for its longtails. 11 are on page 2. Though an expensive method i find that the ROI is excellent since there is traffic even from the longtail keywords that are ranking in those PBNs. On an average the affiliate earnings of the primary keyword (ranking No.1 in google) is equal to 5 longtail keywords (ranking on first page). Effectively, this type of rankings gives a multiplication factor to your earnings and dilutes your penalty fear to great extent since your earnings are not from just one site.

I do add related content to my PBNs on monthly basis. The posts with links are sticky on homepage to get max link juice.

I also sold 3 posts on each of those PBN to some of my old customers (of course, only in related niche) & each post went for a 3 figure sum. So, that helps me in maintaining my PBNs in prime condition with additional niche relevant high quality content to get more power to those PBNs.

hope you make all your invested money back and more. PBNs are indeed costly to maintain specially if content is unique. Nice to see someone sharing the results. How many visitors are you getting daily?

Money site is getting around 400 uniques and 1500+ page views per day.

All PBNs get around 800+ uniques and 2500+ page views everyday.

Just experimenting with PBNs myself at the moment, looking forward to following this thread.

Sorry for what is a basic question, directed to all willing to answer really, but when you link to your main domain from a PBN domain, in what form would you do it for maximum potency?

For example would you link it in a keyword relevant blog article? Or is simply the link all that matters as long as anchor text is ok? Would you do it as sticky on a homepage? Would you link to simply the domain itself (e.g example.com) or perhaps a keyword relevant page / the main ranking page for that term on that domain (e.g. example.com/searchterm) ?

Just trying to figure out the most effective strategy with PBN linking.

Cheers all.

i take the following steps while linking. It would either a money keyword linking or brand anchor depending upon the requirement or ratio that is currently ongoing for that URL.

I also ensure that the keyword is in the title and URL of the article.

It is also ensured that the keyword is repeated at least twice in the article in addition to the link itself preferably in the first paragraph and concluding paragraph of the article.

One relevant image with the keyword in the image name and alt tag to boot for.

Internal linking within the domain is done either using the title of the article or the keyword itself from other posts/pages.
