PBN Linking Method - Case Study In Progress

Little follow up.
1. So you are linking to money site from homepage & that inner long-tailkeyword page on tier 1 PBNs, right?
2. So if 30 tier 1 PBNs, then 300 - 900 tier 2 PBNs?!? Sorry if I misunderstood, but this is important
7. How about TF/CF?
Sorry, again missed out on notifications.
1. Yes, you are correct. But then in few PBNs i have done homepage linking to lingtails as well. Just didn't want to create any pattern.
2. No, there are about only 200 T2 PBNs, i just randomly use 20-30 PBNs for T2 on each of my T1 PBNs..
7. While picking domains i just ensure that it is of min 15 TF and 20 RD. TF and other measurements keep changing on these domains a lot as you keep building it. Some move up while others move down.

I think you may be right. I built my strategy around auctioned domains (from 550RD to 2.1k - $700-$2k per domain) and went for quality instead of quantity. I ran my first test on a rather "easy" keywords with 12 PBN rebuilt from archive with natural anchors. One link per 4-5 days and I have not experienced any movement after a month and a half.

Obviously, with the amount I spent on these domains I can't just remove the links now so I'll just let them age and hope for the best.
It has been a few months.
Could you please let us know about the ranking of yours?
Thanks in advance.

Sometimes you just got to be patient.

Hi bro,

Super happy for you :p:p You deserve it :D:D .

Could tell us a small resume about your cost and ROI. I've read you only use auction domains costing around 700-2k per domain.
1- How many domains you've used to obtain these results ?
2- Is the ROI sufficient for you ?
3- How did you ranked multiple pages all at once ? Do you link from your pbn to all of your pages or to your homepage ?

Thank's mate :p

Yep, I've spent between $500 and $4k per domain. Right now, I have just over 80 domains in my network.

1- Only 9 for these keywords. The other keywords you see are variances and long-tails from the main keyword.
2- Yep. I'm currently making $700 a month with that page only. I also rent these links on a monthly basis (https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/s...ower-based-30-to-2k-rd-monthly-prices.951716/) so the ROI is better/faster (and I can invest that money into new domains)
3- I built this site on an auctioned domain that I paid $700 for (I think). Since I already have over 30,000 links and 650RD pointing to the home page I felt I didn't need to build links there. So all of my links are pointing to inner pages.

Just out of curiosity, when using an auctioned domain with stats like that as you money page, how long did it take to hit first place with your target keywords?

I will never, ever use my home page for one article only, especially if I paid $700+ for the domain. It would be a very bad investment. I use a magazine-type home page and silo my articles. That way my money articles get the link juice from the home page + other pages (Inter-linking) that are also linked from the home page.

From my personal experience (and I've done it a couple of time already), the best you'll get from an auctioned domain is low page 2 - high page 3 after 2-3 months for medium competition keywords. Once your keyword(s) settle down, that's when you need to start your link building.

Also, don't make the mistake to think that because you've paid $1k for a domain that you should magically rank for any keywords you want to. That's not how it works. By investing in an auctioned domain you're really just buying out the first 6 months of offsite work. What you do next and how you do it will define whether your site is going to be a success or a failure.

Edit: Sorry @Sristy, I didn't mean to hijack your thread.

No worries.

Well here is my find in the last 6 months of testing and organising backlinks with PBNs.

Do they still work ?
Yes, they still work.

But, are they less effective ?
Not at all.

I am seeing no ranking improvements as i used to see earlier ?
Definitely, that is something which have come out in my tests too. You need to be patient for rankings. On an average there is a slumber period of 6-12 weeks for rankings to kick in from the time you add the backlinks. A lot of weightage is now being given to your money site domain itself.

Also, another factor i have noticed is the 2nd tier links. Now, even auction domains seem to help in rankings if you add 2nd tier links. Earlier this was not required when you used premium/auction domains in tier 1. Looks like there is some kind of factor added to these domains when content in it is changed. When the same auction/premium domains were tried as tier 1 with same content that was loaded onto it with earlier owner, it seemed to last long for rankings and more powerful without 2nd tier links. So, it helps to keep the content same from previous owner.

Hope this helps.

Excellento, got some info from that. Mind sharing your current rankings and earnings with this.

Have you checked your post age for correlation with rank increases?

I have a working theory based on my own sites made since the Fred rollout. It seems a money site on a fresh domain is sandboxed for 5-8 month before its pages are able to get onto the first page for non-brand keywords. During the wait period your pages can climb and fall in SERP positions depending on your actions but they don't jump onto the first page. I had a bunch stuck at 11-14 then all of a sudden they all jumped to 6-10 once the domain age was around the 6 month mark.

The pages on that domain, even after it has aged in 5-8 month also have a waiting period of 3-4 month before Google gives them any real SERP movement. If you make a page on the domain as soon as you get Google to crawl the domain then it will age in at the same time as the domain. If you make a page on the domain once the domain is over the 5-8 month mark that page will jump around the SERPs and then after 3-4 have a chance to get on the first page.

Again, this is a working theory based on my observations of two of my test sites that have had a whole bunch done to them but both domains have a fair few similarities between them, just curious if you have seen anything similar.

So what you are saying here is important and you are basically no longer ranking your Tier 1 using Tier 2? Instead, you are keeping the content on Tier 1 links the same (using Archive.org for example) and linking from those pages to your money sites directly?

So no more Tier 2 and 1?
