I have a question for you, maybe you can give me an answer after Fred or whatever is going on right now.
Approximately how long does it take a PBN to give some power to the money site? In days or weeks...
I know that one pbn doesnt count, and i am talking about a medium competition keyword.
The money site (RD 200) has been given about 10 great PBNs (url+brand anchor).
Whats your average ranking-increase time?

Hey, strange, I activated the bad bot blocker from wp seo and yet ahrefs found my pbn and shows the backlink.
Ranking increase time is anywhere from few days to 2-4 weeks. I dont see anything written in stone here. I strongly feel ghere is a niche specific delay to ensure someone cant just do wham bam and rank churn n burn sites in highly competitive niches.
Check in the settings whether the ahref bot is correctly added.

I know patience and so on but this time I am pretty disapointed so far with the 2 pbn links I set. I paid good money for the two PBN and I still do not see any movement for the money sites. Only a YouTube video (not mine) skyrocketed from nowhere to p17 for 8k keyword. Both PBN are pretty strong.
Last time I scraped myself and found two not very strong domains (one had only 15 links and the other about 40), posted articles on them and my moneysite jumped upwards like crazy after 3-4 days. Jumped from position 60 to 28. This time 5 days passed and both money sites still on the same positions.
EDIT: And as I wrote that, one money site jumped from 30 to 20I expected more since p1 uses only 1 PBN link. But lets see what happens tomorrow.
I was recently reading an article from Moz about backlink aging. Based on the vast swaths of data they had it showed that links helped small amounts initially and after an average of 10weeks gave the largest boost. Obviously correlation does not equal causation but it would make sense. This would give google more time to decide if a link is legit. It also gives the webmaster more time to remove said link if it was posted without their knowledge.

From PBN Links I was used to see its full power 4-5 days after pointing it to the MS. This time (still) nothing happened for one money site. And the PBN has pretty good and trusted links.
Not all PBNs are buikt same. There are thousands of reason why a particular PBN is not working or taking so long. But hang in there and if you cant wait then build another one.

Highly unlikely your competitor is using 1 PBN link. Maybe he shows 1 link and hide another 49 links!

I´ve read about toxic PBNs. Maybe thats the case in this scenario since my site dropped for one keyword from Page1 to Page2 after pointing that link. Will watch that for a while and then remove it if it does not change.
Possible but I have my doubts. I´ve uncovered his PBN network (only 3-4 PBN in total) where he links to his 6-7 other money sites. He links from all PBN to all money sites (but only links from 1 PBN to the money site in my niche). So many footprints and so rubbish made PBNs, I still wonder how they got not deindexed. He bought an PBN about hard coal and put 6 articles on it, each one is completely off topic to each other. One is about cats, the other is about mattress, the next is about child seats etc.

How do you know you uncovered his PBN when he might show this 3 or 4 but use htaccess to hide the rest. Maybe he even just got lazy or forgot to hide 3 or 4 out of 100 domains?

As I said, it is possible. But his sites all look poor and the PBNs look very poor. In the top 10 only he is using PBN (or the other guys hide theirs). In general its a pretty uncompetitive niche. I don´t care about statistics much but even kwfinder gives it an 25 and says "easy, go for it". I bought a niche site in this niche two weeks ago and am trying to rank it. A lot of work to do since the onpage SEO is very bad and the site has only 15 links, mainly social bookmarks. It is ranking on #20 at the moment (after 1 pbn link). Lets see where I can get this baby.

While writing articles use direct anchors that you want the money site to rank for but use brand/URL to link out. 50 domains with average metrics can rank medium comp keywords pretty easily. Just ensure that there are no toxic links to your PBNs towards which look at the previous anchors used in backlinks to those PBNs.

did google removed the power of expireds already? They mentioned that they will do this in a video.
I ask because so far the 2 PBN links I set had no impact. And they both have a fantastic link profile and were not used as PBN before. Posted the links/articles 2 weeks ago.
Another question, how long do you wait with a new PBN till you post an article to your money site? Do you let the PBN age for 2-4 weeks? Or do you post the article immediately?

Whats your experience, how long does it delay?
I was used to see big movements after 5 days usually.
Have seen from 7 days to 21 days and in some cases even more, say around a month or so.

What do you think instead of building blogs actually putting up sites that look like websites with a blog section and having the pbn link on your homepage. I think these look more natural and you can keep updating the blog section with new posts for freshness. This way you dont have to keep stickying posts and making the site look super unatural.
Also for all my pbns i currently dont use spider blockers since about hal of them are wayback bringback sites. How improtant do you think the spider blockers are to a domain, arent those plugins a signal in themselves? and would you recommend one.
Finally getting to that many domains gets hectic im at about 30 and already stressing out, i wish there was a service on here for full 100% management and update management do you use a VA for this and are you comfortable giving your va all your site passwords and accesses? this would scare me a bit.

Did that on my last PBN. Looks more natural to me too. Only problem is, you can only point 1 money site link from the home page itself. Others would be from the blog.

It took exactly 4 weeks until the 3rd PBN link kicked in. It is a strong one and I paid some good money for it. I thought "man, what a waste" in the past 4 weeks. But yesterday it kicked in. The site jumped from #27 to #11 for an 15k keyword. The subpage was only 2 months old. I guess there must be an google filter for new posts too. Probably thats also a reason why it took that long. Back in the days, a new post was able to rank within days. Now they even put new posts in the sandbox for 1-2 months. At least in my experience.
What I wonder is, how much link juice do I miss when I use the PBN as a blog that does not show full posts? So no direct backlink from the home page. I have a feeling that it is a big footprint to show full posts and that they will start banning PBN with full posts soon.
