Hi,

is there a difference between linking from an inner page which is shown on the homepage or linking from the homepage directly in regards of link juice?

The reason I'm asking is that I found a nice theme (onepress) for greating a business site. In this theme they created an empty page which is marked as homepage in wordpress. But if you open the homepage there of course is content shown. They created multiple pages which are shown on the homepage. At the same time this pages that show on the homepage have Permalinks links which look like inner pages (for example www_domain_com/about). So if I link for example from www_domain_com/about, is google passing the link juice from www_domain_com because it is shown on the homepage when you typ in www_domain_com in your browser.

Got almost 100 diffrent IP links to www_domain_com and almost no links to inner pages. I would like to pass most of link juice to money site.

Homepage links will always be stronger than inner page links.

However, IMO, homepage links are a brutal footprint. 90% of the sites with full homepage posts that I have ever seen are either mommy blogs or PBNs. Around 10 - 15% of your PBN sites with full homepage links should be okay. Rest is better to be played safe, even though it will be a bit weaker.

Not always true. If someone has promoted a specific page more than the homepage, the stats will be stronger there.
In a truly with hat world, this makes sense though.

Agree about this being a footprint for sure.

We are talking purely about linking from PBNs here. So in that regard, my statement is correct. :) Unless you want to build more links to your inner page than your PBN domain already has and that's just plain stupid.
