Regarding PBN

i am also interested to know, for making a private BN, how many blogs is needed?
are they necessarily all in different hosting?
 
Yeah, it works if you have a quality PBN and still a powerful strategy to build links.
 
Of course they are working man. Recently, I gave one Link to my Amazon Kw and it jumped from nowhere to 25th position in 1 week. Best part is; that is the Main Keyword :D

Good to know about that man. PBN's still help to improve the serp result, even though google vanished some spammy network. A well maintained PBN speaks. But, don't depend on the PBN alone, it doesn't help you all time diversify your links through various sources like guest posting, submission, press release, Web 2.0's, bookmarks etc.

Thanks for stating your suggestion.
I know this very well. Other types of links are to Dilute the Anchors Text Dilute. PBN and other Powerful Links are for Long Tail and Main kW.
Btw, I run my Entire Network of Powerful Domains and this was a Part of testing. I am the Owner at DominatingPBNs.com

Also Only Poor Managed PBN gets vanished. I make Very High-Quality Ones ;)
 
Do you think the MOZ factors and AHREF factors matter or is it more traffic now? Seems like if I was Google I would cut websites that had no traffic and homepage links. Clearly PR is gone, but I think like MOZ factors and such may also not be the indicator of the power of a PBN. I haven't tested but heard a lot that traffic is the major factor now, assuming a bounce rate of some sort is figured into that because a spammy site would get a ton of traffic and have outbound links. Then again maybe not, if you went with low OBL and high traffic over a time period you'd know it is a reputable site linking out.

I actually have been experimenting and results so far in a rather non competitive niche have shown that a well organized internal linking optimized structure works really well now without outside links. I have about 15 pages on a new domain in the top 20 for keywords simply by a internal linking structure like wikipedia. Which quite frankly is funny to me. It is a shitload of work, probably harder than building a PBN but yet I am still in control. It might just be that Google realized the people really spamming links just didn't want to put work into a good site. It has taken me hours upon hours to add the content and linking structure but I kid you not I see gains of 20+ positions within hours when I add content. 2 nights in a row I have added a blog post that ranked for the title on page 1 or 2 within an hour without any external links. The fact is building a quality site is more work than spamming links or even getting legit links. If Google has really optimized what a quality site takes to build external links may be much less of a factor. I am a firm believer that anchor text is about dead.
 
@ linkdropper4 On page is a must. In high competitive niches EVERYONE have pretty good on-page, but without good links you are going nowhere. Not even in top 100 for the main keywords. Also clearly you have never done real outreach to see how "easy" is - you can send literally hundreds of e-mails for days before getting a single good link. On-page is simple technicality - outreach is far, far harder.

I always LoL-ed when someone asked/says "is PBNs dead?". The proper builded PBN is just an website like any other out there, that happen to have some good links. Thats it. As long as the links work, so will the PBNs. If your PBNs didn't work - you do something wrong. Its that simple.
 
PBN is very much alive! Just came back from CMSEO2017, where everything confirmed that the are still very active! Just need better quality!

Oh I have PBNs as well. I just think a lot of people try to shortcut and shoot to the top with PBN and then bitch that they don't work when in fact they are trying to rank a site that is shit in structure to begin with.
 
People are still utilizing PBN in a New Way. Old Wine in New Battle.
