Hi.. I live in a non-english country and want to rank a business keyword (use PBN so competitors wouldn't know).

Does the domain have to be my country TLD? Or I can take some random .org, put my own language relevant content into there?

    Thanks a lot.

If you have country specific tlds in your expired domains list, then use them. However, you can still rank with usual tlds.

If they contain the country TLD then thats good, but if it doesn't that doesn't make much of a difference either. The TLD diversity is also good for the backlink profile of a page/domain.

    TLD's are irrelevant.

If you go for country TLDs or at least same language TLDs (or same language history in case of .com,.net,.org), then it always helps as I can see from my European clients. If not, you can use other TLDs too. No worries. Personally, I like finding same country TLDs for both my European clients as well as other customers and they seem to work better in terms of results from my personal experience.

Your own country TLD helps you in your local search results(within that country).. If you wanna rank world wide you have to use all country domains.

I would suggest that you use a country-specific TLD for your main website. Your PBN websites can use standard .com or .org or .net domains.

    That's fine.

To maximize your non-English language main website's ability to get traffic from Google, I would suggest that you use a country-specific TLD.

The good news is you can use the local word for the actual keyword that you're targeting.

In certain contexts, this actually produces better results.

It doesn't have to be expensive.

Of course, it depends on how competitive your niche is.
