couple of days ago I asked this question "if money wasn't an issue, how would you rank?"
I got a lot of responses, some humorous, others serious.

I didnt ask the question right. I mean that's not what I intended to ask.

my real question is this: if money isn't an issue, how can I set up a quality PBN? where do I buy the expired domains? godaddy auctions and expireddomains.net has gone to shit due to everybody using it.

I need about 20 good domains that will rank me. I have money to spend. Where can I buy these from?

If money was not a problem, you would buy sites that are already ranking in your niche, and create articles that link them together in various ways.

You'd really think universities and gov would sell their domain names?

Ontopic : I guess I would take a look at flippa, some of the domains being auctioned there are pretty interesting. For the rest I would just backorder a shit ton of quality domains.

There's no really secret way of getting these domains and if you mean ''to shit'' as in became too expensive then why would you mention money isn't a problem?
If you look well, there are tons of domains on there. Most of the good ones will run you in the 100's if not thousands, but alot of them are good.

Sounds to me money is a problem to you, you're not willing to pay full price to get quality, are you?

The quality domains cost more then $10 or $20. If money is not an issue then go for good domains which cost around $200+. Most of domains at such price usually have good metrics.

If money wsn't an issue you would be able to find a couple of good domains each day on expiredomains.net or GD auctions.
 
Have you any idea how many domains get dropped every day ? 90% of people on godaddy auctions are dreamers looking for high pr domains for $5. If you have a brain and are willing to spend the time actually looking for real domains you will find them on GD auctions. Im actually on there now.

OP, if money is really not an issue then hit up some Professional Domain Brokers and let them do the donkey work.
Or pay somebody to build you your own network. Or just buy suitable sites outright from their owners.
Even better would be to hit up a Website Broker like meathead1234 buy 10-20 high profile sites with good metrics that are already generating decent revenue and you would have the ultimate PBN

The biggest mistake you make in asking the question is saying "if money wasn't an issue" as MONEY is ALWAYS an issue.
As has been said before, if money wasn't an issue then you would not need to do it in the first place.
People can't really give you good advice and help you with half the facts.
Give an indication of your real budget and people may be able to give you better advice and direct you to suitable sites.

If money REALLY isn't an issue then send me $50000 and I will obtain your 20 sites.

Indeed! That's why you should find your own methods to get great domains. Don't follow the herd, invent something yourself and you will be surprised.

Godaddy auctions is perhaps the best place to find valuable expired domains.

Why not buy directly Google Inc. Facebook, Inc. and Yahoo! Inc. (not the domains, the companies) and rank for whatever you want.
 
As others have said, if money wasn't an issue you would just buy authority sites in your niche and bank.

Again there are plenty of domains in Godaddy Auction to buy if you're willing to spend $$$$
 
Oh you guys are all so immature, its a valid question, alright? I was wondering the same thing.

Lets rephrase the question again: if you had a $10k bank loan for your startup SEO agency, where would you buy good quality, high trust flow domains in bulk?
