this is not a totally serious question, it's more for entertainment purposes, but it's also interesting.

If you were tying to evaluate a domain for PBN purposes, and you had the option to look at one and only one thing about that domain, what would you look at?

me: I would check out the anchor texts. 90% of the time it's so easy to tell who is a spammer and who is not just by checking the anchor texts. even if the spammer was careful and put in a bunch of "click here" "read more" it's so fucking easy to tell who is natural and who is not.

What would YOU look at?

Great question, I've been working on this for some time and have derived a new metric "CA" (Cat Authority) which works far better than DA/PA or even PageRank.

Instructions:

1. Print a list of prospective domains on a sheet of paper (pro tip: use double-line spacing)

2. Carefully cut out each domain name into long thin strips.

3. Lay the strips out across the floor evenly spaced.

4. Wake your Cat up and put him/her in front of your domain-name-paper-strips.

5. Observe which strips your cat goes for, these have the highest Cat Authority.

If you do not own a Cat, you can borrow one from friends/family or alternatively try the technique with a stray cat outdoors.

I have successfully used this metric dozens of times with good results, Cats seem to intuitively know which domains have bad backlink profiles or have been spammed in the past.
