PBN From Auctions - A Problem I Never See Discussed

I've been dabbling with godaddy auctions/closeouts the past week or so; in that time I've managed to find about 3 domains that I'd actually say are worth the effort of using.

However, theres a problem I never see mentioned with people who do this; every domain you buy through godaddy goes to a single registrar account (the account you won the auction with) and since godaddy makes you pay for auction membership that means you simply can't open a new registrar account for every pbn you bid on (unless you want to pay for auction membership over and over again)

What I am wondering is how are people getting around this huge footprint? Are they buying whoisprotection on these domains and just keeping dozens of expired domains in their one godaddy account? Or are they waiting 60 days and transferring them elsewhere?

Buy WHOIS protection or use fake registration info.

Transfer some, leave some.

The best way to minimize registrar footprints is to not buy all of your domains through GoDaddy. Buy from other auction sites, find expired domains and register them, etc.

netmatrix has already given you a good advice. Personally I don't mind paying for multiple auction membership fees for different accounts from godaddy. It's only natural to have lots of domains with them as they are the biggest player in the market.
