PBN FEAR

I have a blog around 4 years old and I want to join a pbn service here (gen pbn actually).

I am afraid what will happen to my site if the network will be caught or something.

Same thing that happens if you're caught using any paid links etc, you're site will possibly get slapped down the rankings or thrown out into oblivion.

BlackHat SEO is always playing with fire. If you want to reduce your risk, you can always make your own PBN or some other kind of Tier 1 that you control directly. Then point links from marketplace PBN sellers as Tier 2 and point them at your Tier 1.

If it happens that my money site is caught and gets a penalty. Is it possible to remove the links and get back on track as it was or not?

You could try to disavow the links, however you'll just bring more attention to the site.

As for getting back on track ? Possibly but there'd be no guarantee.

Your site might get Aids. Be careful. Use protection.

You are taking a small risk, especially if you are still learning SEO. So you should decide how important the site is to you and whether you can take that risk or not.

If you want to be over cautious then you can build your own buffer site(s) and then purchase links pointing to those sites which in turn link to your own website.

Its going to reduce the effectiveness of your link building but it means that you have complete control over the links that are hitting your site and if something goes wrong you can remove them.

To follow up on disavowing/removing links, if you point the marketplace links at a Tier 1 that you control, then it's easy to remove the page that actually links back to your site if something goes wrong, which is better than disavowing. Your site might stay penalized though, depending on the situation.

Tier 1 Site = Condom

As mentioned, shitty marketplace PBN links can give you AIDS.

I am kinda new to blackhat so my site is pretty important to me right now because I've been working on it for almost 2 years. It receives about 100 organic visitors daily and 500 from social media.

About buffer sites that's a nice idea but it reduces the power of links?

What if I have a post about ex "logitech mouses" on my own money site. I make that post also on a buffer site and invest there 10 pbn posts.

Can the buffer site rank higher than me, or the juice will be flown to my site (it will be the only link and do-follow).

^^ I think you should be reading up and learning a bit more first.

If you buy 10 links to anything it's not going to rank you on its own.

You need to understand the competition you are up against, how to optimise your on-page, how to distribute anchor text and so on.

How about building some buffer sites to rank some long tail terms related to the main term you are targeting, then you can try to rank the buffer sites for the long tails in their own right, and then link to your main site with a view to ranking it for the primary term you are targeting.

This way you can potentially rank all of the sites, you are protecting your money site from any blackhat stuff (mostly) and you have some sites (the buffers) to experiment with.

No doubt you will fail a few times, but that's how you learn what works and what doesn't.

Your site will get penalty and make remove the backlinks quickly

Say you're trying to rank for "Buy Blue Shoes" as your main term:

1. Make blueshoereviews.weebly.com
2. Post an article on blueshoereviews.weebly.com titled "how to buy cheap blue boots"
3. In that article, link back to your main site's article "Buy Blue Shoes." Ex: "Now that you know how to buy cheap boots in various shades of blue, check out some online shops where you can [buy blue shoes] <-- Link to money site here
4. Point PBN links at blueshoereviews.weebly.com/how-to-buy-cheap-blue-boots, which in turn links back to the main site's Buy Blue Shoes article

The buffer site now (ideally) ranks for "how to buy cheap blue boots" (a longtail related to the money site's main keyword) and the main site (ideally) now ranks for "Buy Blue Shoes" (the main keyword).

Yourwebsite.com/main-keyword - you want to rank this site for main keyword.

abrandnewsite.com - you build this site and target something related to your main keyword. so if your main keyword is Ping golf clubs, then you build this new site targeting this keyword - review of ping 5 iron golf club. That related term might get only 100 searches per month, but have low competition. So you can try and rank your new site for that term. You build your pbn links to this new site in order to rank it. And you also link back to Yourwebsite.com/main-keyword - using your main keyword as anchor text. Then the juice from the pbns gets filtered to your main site.
The main objective here is to keep your main site safe and the links pointing to it in your control - if you get penalised you can remove the link from abrandnewsite.com and save your main site. Also if abrandnewsite.com gets penalised then you can throw it away, its not important.
If abrandnewsite.com ends up ranking well, then you are sending the traffic to your main site anyway, or you might end up just redirecting it if all works very well.

Others may say this is a long way of doing it, and it is, and you will lose some power from the links.

But what I am saying is this - if you are new to SEO and you dont know what you are doing, then you are risking less with this method. If you end up getting a few of these new sites penalised it doesnt matter and you are learning along the way.

And this is especially a good point, especially for people newer to SEO. Trying to control 300 cheap PBN links is way harder than removing one article from one buffer site.

PBN as mentioned is playing with fire and Google is starting to sort out tier 2 now as well. Natural Organic Search that is customer focused is Googles #1 priority, they know how they went from zero to billion due to their spider and serving up content and they are very focused on providing the best search experience this comes from us not gaming those results but coming from actual people and searches etc.

I would never use a PBN for long term growth you could depend on it and then the network could (or lets say will) go bad at some point. It is a quick fix. I would only use PBN and other tier two trickery to get me up the serps so I could leverage that position to exchange with others for real links then gradually back out my PBN.

Good point by others of course you never want links to your site out of your control there are enough spam links you will get as you grow that tick you down a few thousand places in Ahref until they figure out it is spam. Never point non genuine content to your site PERIOD. Use them to drive up another site you control. Plus building your own content site allows you to sell links here as well.

I would even add you should put all of your purchased links on tier 3 if you are looking for long term network, selling links and growth that way all of the time you spend building up your tier 2 is not destroyed by a bad set of links. This is what we do for link sites we want to be in a niche for +1 yr we find after about 6 months most links have a real risk of going bad.
