I guess it's age only, PR usually shows the quality and amount of backlinks to to the website. And you probably want a clean domain.

The quality of the links pointing to the domain. This is the best way to determine the value of any domain.

OK. Here's what we do for my service (http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...domains-da-10-40-tf-0-20-priced-low-10-a.html) before even letting the domains go on sale.
These are metrics for general domains. The numbers of TF/DA don't always have to be a hardline as long as it's got some good healthy links to it. If it's super relevant to your niche that's even better. If the niche itself is very very small, then even a low "stats" domain could give you a big boost.
- The domain itself must not have any blacklisted keywords in it (e.g. viagra).
- All anchors must not have any blacklisted keywords in it.
- The top 10 anchors to the domain must be ALL english characters.
- Using Archive.org. The domain must always have been written in English.
- Using Archive.org. The domain must never have been used as a PBN before (More so, hopefully it's had a single owner it's entire life).
- Generally speaking, You want both DA and TF above 10. Usually TF above 15. We don't actually have a hard line for these aslong as one of two is reasonbly high. I would say that maybe a general rule could be added together, DA + TF should be 25+ atleast.
- CF should not be 1.8x TF or higher. Infact, the closer the CF is to the TF the better.
- Ideally the domain should have some links from an authority site so that, should you choose to, that authority site can be hit with GSA/SB links as a sort of buffer to your expired domain.
- Backlinks should ideally be made up mostly of contextual links. That means the less blog comments/forum signatures/directory links the better.

Thank you so much that was exactly what I needed to know. The niche I'm going for is very small so I've been going for some cheap healthy domains DA 25+, and pretty much have been doing what you suggested.
If you don't mind answering one more question for me I'd appreciate it, I already asked in another thread but haven't gotten any bites. I've come across some domains that have DA + PA 30+, english sites, healthy backlinks, and no problems with Google. But these domains also have a Moz score of 0. Is this an indication of something bad that I'm not seeing, or does Moz just not have a profile for that domain?

You mean Mozrank? To be fair I don't know that much about it, except that it's between 1 and 10, and is supposed to basically emulate PageRank but other than that I don't know too much about it. If DA is 30+ then you should be in the clear (Provided the links aren't completely spammed).
